    Cheers 348 Brothers.

I've finally came around to subscribe again, so I can post some
    pics for you guys :D:D

So I wanted to show you my latest mod on my 348,
got a pair of alu sills from a m8 in England, fitted them and WOOOW...:D:D

    Installation was quite easy...
First I removed the 3 screws which held the main sill, then I just pulled the
sill backwards and off it came...now, I know some of these sills might be glued
to the body of the car, cus my friend was unable to remove his sills..no chance...
can anyone please confirm this??? glued (as standard) or not????

Anyway, peeled off the stock rubber sill, cleaned the tray, mounted red tape in the tray,
glued the sill, compressed it with 5 clamps(?)..and wooolah! :D

Personly I think it "lifted" the car a couple of years with this rather modern upgrade...

You'll also find lots of useful 348 info on my homepage: www.myferrari.page.tl
    Wadda ya think?
    Cheers. :)

any signs of old glue either...it was damn clean under there.

Goth, that is just dried hair gel on the 355. The 348 only gets that on the passenger side when someone is giving a ride to the valve-guide repair shop for a 355 owner...
Oh, and I think the sills look great! Is it difficult to clean the recesses where the name is cut out?

I used lots of glue around the letters in order to prevent dirt underneath the sill,
so hopefully it's pretty well sealed up. :)

But to clean it will requires a q-tip or something, is'nt that half the fun
with ownership??? to picky clean the car :D:D

Wow, Paul's back!!!!!!!! It's great to see you're still out there. It's a coincidence because I thought of you just last night. I was watching the news and they said the average price for gas in Norway was $10.07 per gallon. Be sure to keep that thirsty 348 well hydrated!

Yes, I see it on the wall. Your garage looks great. Lots of time and effort I'm sure. I need to do mine soon. I think it will be a good winter project!

    What a nice garage Paal!!!

Nice red piece of machinery you put in there.

I am going to change my door sills also next winter.

My car is going to the doctor next Friday.

Got to see what is wrong with the A/C fan.

    All the best,

    Bengt
