I really don't like how you can view edited information from posts. If I remove something from my post within the given time frame, that information should be GONE. It shouldn't be available for everyone to see. What if I accidentally put personal information up or I made a rude post and want to make it a nice post?

I know my opinion doesn't count because I'm not subscribed, but whatever.

Another note on the New Posts issue: It wasn't happening yesterday when the new Posts button was right on the menu bar instead of in a submenu.

Helps if you think someone is stalking you. :D

Would be kind of nice if you could leave it turned on for moderators.

I want to bump my own post, I don't know if it was a good idea or not since all the F-chat changes started.

I like to know who's stalking me. However, I myself prefer to be an unknown stalker.

All in all, the best decision.

At the beginning of this thread, I suggested adding modest texting improvements: the capability to use italics and bold face.

    Any further thoughts on that?

How about a sub-forum in Technical called "oil" or "fluids"? It would have all of the posts/discussions on oil, gearbox oil, and other fluids. Seems to be a popular subject, especially this time of year. Even though I have a 328, I have read good oil discussions on other models.

I have no complaints on anything; thanks for the site, Rob.

I would make everyone pay in order to post and participate. Give them 10 free posts and if they don't press up with some coin, then they can read all they want all day but that can't chime in.

Run this board like a business so this way you will have capital available to build the best site and have the resources to do it. Get rid of the riff raff and if they can't afford $15 to $25 a year, who needs them? It won't hurt the sponsors in the least bit as they can still view and read all they want (and if they can't afford $15 to $25 a year, they aren't going to be buying any of the sponsor's products anyhow), but you need to put the brakes on the gravy train and kick the freeloaders to the curb.

I THINK I HAVE A GOOD IDEA. (I've been mistaken before though)

IF IT'S POSSIBLE, HOW ABOUT A 'GO TO MY LAST POST WITHIN A THREAD' TYPE THING. FOR EXAMPLE, IN THIS THREAD, I BELIEVE I RESPONDED, 'MORE NUDITY'. THAT WAS FOREVER AGO AND I HAVEN'T OPENED THIS THREAD SINCE. BY CLICKING MY GENIUS BUTTON, I WOULD BE BROUGHT TO THAT POST WRITTEN BY MYSELF AND BE ABLE TO READ FROM THERE ON SINCE ONE COULD ASSUME HE HAS ALREADY READ UP TO THAT POINT WHEN HE POSTED. (God, that was some F'ed up grammar which I usually pride myself upon but I think I will leave it alone.)

Like that idea Rob? Can it be done?
