I park my M3's in two spots along with my Ferrari and anything else of value I own.

Sorry, when the average fatass American learns how to open their door without costing me $300 in paint repairs, I'll take up one spot.

I also make sure to park where video surveillance is available and would go after the person who did that to any of my cars.

Been double parking all my life, people know not to touch my cars :)

The guy who parked like that should expect something but the one who took the time to do all that writing and vandalism is 10X the idiot!

I hope there is a security camera there.

The problem with that kind of situation is that you can't assume the person taking up two spaces or going way over the line is really at "fault". There could have been other cars there previously that led them to have to park that way. Then the other cars leave and it looks like he did it all on his own. So it's pretty lousy to take revenge. This website has some good entertainment value though: http://youparklikean*******.com/

    I use 2 spaces.

When I'm in my truck with the trailer attached.

I put gum on the windows of jerks that park in two spaces. If you value your car that much, don't drive it, take a cab.

Sure use 2 spots if there are plenty of others. Use 2 when its crowded, you are almost asking to get keyed.

One spot but very far away from all others. Makes the walk longer. Exercise doesn't hurt.

Just as there are people who can't park next to a car well, there will be people who will see a car parked in two spaces and park close anyway. Then whose fault is it??

If you want to protect your car, follow the lines, but go away from every body else.

Only when in the lambo with its uber wide body kit which makes it about 13 feet wide.

Really? All of them? Everyone recognizes your cars?

People who do that are just asking for vandalism. Not from me; I keep my nose clean and I'm not going to get a record over something so trivial. But I wouldn't report anyone for doing it, either.

That website is hilarious, I suggest people print them out, and put them on the cars that are taking up spaces, etc.

It's also pretty lousy to take up two spaces just because others do. So the solution is to call a guard, and get them to tow the car taking up two spaces. If it's an exotic the owner prolly has the money to deal with it and can smile.
If he complain he can buy a cheaper car and remember to use one parking space at a time.

Or you know what is worse? A bright red 430 spider in a handicap spot. The condos I lived in had this 430 spider park there for a few days. Until they got a nasty letter left for them on their windshield. And they had this A$$hose in a H2 that always took up 2 spots. Sometimes in the front too, while 50 feet away there is always 20 or so empty spots.

Think about it..... You see a double parked, late model run of the mill leased BMW and you shrug thinking, "What an ******" and you park somewhere else....

What kind of guy gets SOOOO angry he parks and writes that letter, returns to the other car, puts in on the windshield and then vandalizes it? Seems pretty twisted to me. ;)

Depending on what car I am in I will sometimes park far away from the other cars. Tomorrow I'm picking up a Special Edition Miata that I've been looking for a while. I'll probably park it away from other cars. I have noticed that when I park far away someone will usually be parked next to me when I come back to the car. I guess they know I don't want the car to be dinged so they make sure to park by it just to be annoying.

I never take up 2 spots. I park normal away from the action.

Where ever you go there is almost always blocks of open spots, albeit further away....thats the price you pay.

Taking 2 spots out in the boonies...no problem. Taking 2 spots semi near where most people need/want to park on a normal basis is inconsiderate and arrogant. It begs for trouble, and furthers the stereotype that people with nice cars somenow think they are better than normal people. And while I don't advocate vandalism, on some level the point was made...it could have been made by 4 flat tires, gum, or some other (more) harmless manner.....

The world is becoming overrun with disdain and disrespect for persons and property. You disrespect another whne you take 2 spots and they disrepect you when they key your car....which caused the other???

You've got skill if you can take up four spots with a normal sized car.

People taking up two slots? Don't care. Most of the time they are parked out in the ass end of space so it doesn't matter anyway.

I very rarely take up two spots, Ill just park way in the back of where its safe or not at all.
If its a short stop and I can keep an eye on the car I may, but by only putting one wheel over the line into the second spot so it just looks like Im and idiot that cant park.
I dont take up two spots because I think Im special, but rather because of inconsiderate, rude, idiotic *******s with no concern for others property rf dumbasses that think itll be funny to open their door into a Lambo.
When my car is worth more than every car surrounding it times two, I think a lil percaution, in a public lot where its not illegal to do so, to protect it from these people warrants a lil more assfault space for me.
They can walk a lil further just as easy as I can. However, like I just said above, I rarely do this. Its just asking for haters to do something to it. Ill just walk or not stop and park there to begin with.
The cars for driving, not parking.

I am 25 and treasure my 05 BMW, it is the nicest car i have owned and exactly the model/spec i wanted. Not long ago someone opened their door onto my car and dented and scratched it. I usually just park at the far end of a car park on my own but if i cant i have no hesitation in doing this.

I never take up more than one spot, as I think that is just asking to be keyed. I have never gotten a door ding though.

Park in a spot at the end of the lot. I do that will ALL of my cars. Walking is good exercise. My other favorites are next to a planter or disabled parking space (when there is more than one). Although I don't support vandalism, I can understand the fury that some piggish dick can cause when he takes up two spaces in a crowded lot. My absolute favorites are the guys who park at an angle in two spaces. There's no doubt that his car is special, just like he is.

You can take two spots if you park a long way from the door and there is ample room. If you do this when parking is scarce, look out!

I've seen a guy park his 911TT on two spaces on the street. (Parking meter) But thing that got me was, he only paid for ONE parking space... I mean, if you are going to take up two space, pay for two!

I am sorry but nothing screams "red neck" to me than to see that. Maybe for an Enzo but if you are too scarred to drive the car then why have it? If you can not just park in the boonies and walk in why drive?

Nothing screams "cant afford it" or "too uptight" than parking in two spaces. I would wait till someone left and park beside you just to piss you off.

If possible, just park in an end spot next to a shopping cart that has just happens to be knocked over.

Most are too lazy to get out of their car, move the cart, and then park.
