    The upcoming Shannons Melbourne auction next week has a few plates listed:
    [32] est 320-370k
    [543] est 72-80k
    [997] est 70-78k
    [2471] est 22-28k

    I wonder what [32] will go for, didn't [47] sell for about 320k last year?
    Will be interesting to see how the current financial situation in Australia responds to the selling price of these plates...

    just a strange coincidence that you make it on fchat and then pop up on the radar (so to speak) a couple of days later ... never seen the plates or car before

    That's correct and well observed. They have also been on a number of exotic vehicles throughout the past few years.

    True. I would have noticed you if a QV had driven past me. The plates for the majority of their lives have normally been on a BMW M3. And that car has definately had some "air-time" on the Gold Coast. lol

    I have a personalised plate [won/t mention the name here, its not important] and asked Shannon's to sell it for me, they refused.

    Yet i have a letter from the famous company of the same name [beat them to the plate, haha!] where i offered to lease/rent it to them, and they agreed.

    Me being me and lazy, i let it slip & never got back with a offer that they requested.Now i am to embarressed to write back to them after 5 years [or more]

    Motto of the story, D.I.N "Do it now" and P.M.A "Positive Mental Attitude".

    Sits on my bookshelf as a reminder........................

    Indeed.

    He babys it, and spares no expense on it.Bit of a garage queen really, but does try to take it out each weekend, weather permitting.

    Drives like a bit of a granny, so nearly as slow as me!

    Best thing is in 2 weeks time he is tossing me the keys to it so i can take jnr. for a spin in it.

    Of course i will refuse, i would NEVER drive anybodys else vehicle, esp. a Ferrari or something so dear to them.

    He can take jnr. for a burn, i will chat to his g/f while he is gone :)
