...6 hours to go. It's pouring rain right now in the MC area. Let's hope that it all goes well for the F-cars.

    Forza Ferrari.

I just hope Lewis doesn't try of his "brave" passes in the first turn and takes out one of the F-cars.

I want to see one of the underdogs get a good result, i.e. Webber or Trulli.

With rain it's a all new ball game... I'am looking forward to this.

Ferrari played a great move in Q3, Mclaren didnt expect to see them so quick, took completely by surpise, but the rain could spoil it.

The problem is even if they run and hide the SC will reel them back in assuming some incident, and I sure wouldn't want LH hounding me round those streets in the wet.

I am watching the GP2 series race and no rain so far. About 10 laps to go and 35 minutes before the F1 guys show up for the race. Let's rock.

Let's be practical: if it rains, no video of the bathing beauties watching the race. ;)

Someone we know with a shiny new yacht should be there and be able to supply photos either way.

I'm surprised to see the yachts moored right up at the swimming pool chicane. I thought they used to clear that area ... just in case.
(Okay trivia buffs: how long has it been since an F1 car went into the drink?)

    Good morning everyone

The yachts were also moored right up at the habour and the swimming pool chicane for the Monaco Historic Grand Prix a couple weekends ago. Lady Moura was also in port but isn't at the same pier for the F1 race. The large ship just outside the harbour was also there a couple weekends ago - looked to me like the ultimate "house boat" - the one that has condos that you actually live on (not a "cruise ship").

GP2 Sprint race sure had some incidents!

A couple of Roger Penske's boys are leading in the 24 Hours of the Nurburgring (and have been most of the race) in a GT3 RSR - Bernhard/Dumas/Lieb/Tiemann. The new VW Scirocco is in 11th and 14th - 11th with Carlos Sainz/Hans Stuck and others.

First lap of F1 race should be interesting!

    Carol

Good afternoon! Will be a very interesting race, track is half damp, half dry. Bad luck for Ferrari, now that they are finally in the first row again, the race is likely to be won by tire gambling...

Edit: Kovalinen starting on dry tyres, Kimi on intermediates. Theissen in the interview said BMW will also be on intermediates. Quote: "Our weather information says it doesn't rain at the moment, but I'm getting wet right now", at least he hasn't lost his humour :)
