(Denver) Ferrari Spotters!!!!

This afternoon, the aforementioned silver daily-driven Aston-Martin DB9 on 2nd and Milwaukee around 11:30am, and a black Lotus Esprit on Detroit between 2nd and 3rd a few minutes later.

 

Great-looking black Ferrari F430 Spider on out-of-state temporary plates at Exposition and Colorado around 5:30pm today being driven by a middle-aged man with his young daughter in the passenger seat. Cool car!

A blue 996 turbo cab in Glenwood Springs last night. Last weekend I saw a blue Bentley CGT on I-25 and then a (I know Corvette haha) beautiful white Blue flame on a trailer by Eisenhower tunnel.

I did see the black Ferrari Enzo at the Westin last night at around 7:30pm. In case you missed the thread, it's here.

 

And speaking of the black Enzo, today I caught a black Ferrari F430 on Colorado and Hampden with plates verrrrry similar to those of the black Enzo and a certain dark red 599 GTB... Hmmmmm...

 

Tonight, a super-rare Shelby GT-H convertible with Nevada plates on 3rd and Columbine - that's the one they rented out in the "rent a racer" program. Also a very nice red Ferrari 348ts on 2nd and Josephine; here's another shot of that car. Finally, a dark red Lamborghini Gallardo on 1st and University. All spots around 7:30pm.

 

Today at Cherry Creek Mall valet at around 2:20pm, a very nice black Aston-Martin V8 Vantage on temporary plates from Sill-Terhar.

And also a word of gratitude to my camera... the photo of that Aston was the 10,837th photo it's ever taken, and as of now it has been retired after two great years, replaced with a Canon SD1100 IS.

I dunno, something about the V8 Vantage just doesn't do it for me. I'm sure its a great car, just doesn't make me go "Wow" like the DB9.

I caught this gray V8 Vantage (on 10th Mountain Division plates) in Larimer Square tonight around 8:15pm... maybe that one will push your buttons a bit more? The gray wheels help it look a bit more exotic. Also caught a green Aston-Martin DB7 Vantage Volante at the Westin around 8pm.

Spot of the night, though, goes to a dark gray Audi R8 on temporary plates at Cherry Creek Mall around 7:45pm... a great color combination. Here's another shot with a slightly lesser Audi in the background.

My one and only spot of the black enzo was with the F430, both were traveling on University, posted about it maybe 1 1/2 years ago on this thread.

Both were going exceptionally slow down university....... and pulled into the police station for cherry hills.

Ah James is no stalker - I think he means that the Enzo turned to go down Quincy into Cherry Hills, which is both where the police station is located and where he probably lives.

This afternoon at around 2pm, I caught a nice-looking brown Avanti on 2nd and Steele. Normally I wouldn't photograph such a vehicle but I'm itching to try out the new camera!

No, I didnt stalk them, it was late and I was surprised to see the cars. I was on a BMW motorcycle so I didnt look too out of place. I live close to that area anyway, and I was driving home.

I'm glad you finally got the Enzo spot, too bad my 308 is now sold otherwise I'd drive to Cherry Creek and let you spot me

Tonight, two cool cars at Elway's around 7pm: a silver BMW Z8 in valet parking there, and my first sighting of a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, which was just released a few weeks ago.

 

A silver Saleen S281 on 3rd and Detroit today around 1:30pm. A lesser exotic, yes, but still a rare beast.

 

White Audi R8 heading west at the intersection of Lincoln and Yosemite at 4:40pm today.

 

Same silver BMW Z8 as last night at Elway's; tonight parked at 17th and Lawrence across from the Westin around 8pm.

 

Some great cars out tonight: around 7pm, a silver BMW Z8 - though a different one than the one I had been seeing the last few nights - in front of the Cherry Cricket on 2nd between Columbine and Clayton...

Also three different open-top mid-engine V8 Ferraris: a red 348 GTS at Elway's around 7pm, a red 360 Spider on dealer plates downtown at 16th and Wazee around 7:15, and, oddly, a red F355 Spider on recent temporary plates around 7:30pm in the Platt Park area, near Florida and Clarkson.

I was cruising around downtown tonight hoping to get "Spotted" by you in my lowly ol' E38! Remember the last time was more of a "Race"? LOL. Anyway I was down there going to a car GTG and there was a blue 08 Gallardo. Owner was super cool and new tons about the car.
