Works' GTO with image of Jagger collecting his at Maranello in background. Satisfction... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Isn't that an F40 in the pic with Jagger? Or you talking about the pic in the far back? Either way...very cool pic!
I think Joe was reffering to the second photo from the right with him sitting in the car with the door open.
The pic of the man standing by the F40 is Nick Mason standing by his new F40 the day he picked it up at Maranello. The pic of the man sitting in a 288 GTO is Mick Jagger collecting "58149" at Maranello when it was brand new.
funny, this week end just one day before the race in Monaco, Alonso decided to make with a friend (reporter on TV 5 Spain) a turn of circuit in bicycle...just behind him and during a long time it was possible to see a 288 GTO (Plates 308 GTO) Alonso and Tv reporter dont recognize the GTO thinking probably it was a 328 or 308..... Alonso drives ahead a Ferrari for this year during 2 minutes.
someone must to explain to Alonso which model is....i think he reconize something different during your accelaration out the tunel. Magic sound.
I remember what Christian is talking about. It was 3 or 4 years ago. Alonso was making a complete lap in a bike with a guy from the spanish TV and they where talking about the different corners, the gears to use, ... It's clear that the GTO that overtake Alonso was RTB's "308 GTO". Here is the YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GwCBM2h6MuA When the GTO overtake, Alonso is saying: Hey Hey!! Where they go at these speed!?!?
OK, so now we have conclusive proof that was RTB, doing his best to disrupt a Spanish Broadcast. This is from several years ago...
thanks jordi i was looking for this vid, many thanks. 3 or 4 years before....oufff i thought it was last sunday...
That's great footage. I remember driving the circuit behind a film crew but didn't realise that it was Alonso on the bike! Can't remember what year - maybe 2003 or 2004??
Haha. Good thing you didn't go down in history under the headline: "Loyal Ferrari Man runs over Alonzo"
