not really.....both cars are very very different in character. for daily driving it's certainly the cayenne turbo or the 997 turbo.... when i want to be scared it's GT2 time
Did you order the GT2 from the factory or did you buy it "used" with 30 miles on it? Difficult to get one? I asked my dealer and he said they weren't sure if they'd be getting any.
Nice pair. The GT2 has white wheels? Not really the biggest fan of the 997 TT. I prefer the 996. If I were in your position I would sell the Turbo and get something different but what do I know!
you certainly are one of very few who actually prefer the 996 over the 997.....i've had a 996 Turbo as well....the 997 is much more in line with the 911 DNA than the 996 was. i think the turbo and gt2 complement each other quite nicely as they are very different to drive. my turbo is tip and the gt2 only comes manual. the turbo is also much more a GT than the gt2 is...... yes, the wheels on the gt2 are white.....wasn't too sure when ordering but looks quite nice.
Nice photoshoot. I didn't know the interior and exerior of the two cars are so different. Personally I vae a soft spot for air cooled rear engine Turbo. I prefer the sound coming from the engine bay much more so than the water cooled engines.
Your 997 GT2 looks amazing in that combo, white with white rims.... Congratulations for both cars....and now get a Ferrari...
So when you drove both of these cars on Nurburgring, how much faster was the GT2 compared to the turbo? Was the GT-2 faster than the Scuderia and GT-R as advertised?
unfortunately i haven't but planning to take my GT2 there with TK' Scud in September... meanwhile I browse the pages of sport auto to know what each car is capable of in the hands of a pro.....which I am certainly not....
Very nice pair of Ps............the TT seems to stand a little higher than the GT2 or is it just the angle on the picture.
the GT2 is 20mm lower than the TT....hence it took me 2 hours this morning to load her on your magnificient truck......
