Try walking in like you never had a doubt it was ok, it's worked for me cruising the hospitality area.
Yeah we're going. We're sitting at Turn 1, but I forgot the name of our section. Andreas, have you gotten your tickets yet?
We'll (my wife and I) be in Grandstand 11, Section 7...Can't wait! I'm praying for good weather because I want to drive my 360 there. I'm looking for Ferrari some fun events, so if you know of any pls let me know (via PM). See you there!
The weekly pass is $19.25. Granted, that's Sunday to Monday so it's not exactly a weekly pass for most GP visitors. http://www.stm.info/english/info/a-tarif.htm
Looks like it will have to be two 3 days passes then. I have tickets at Gold 1, I'll be doing some walking that weekend.
Formula BMW and Ferrari Challenge will be back, as well as the Porsche GT3 IMSA Challenge. Should be great stuff. Mark
http://www.ferraricorseclienti.com/fwe/events/corseclienti/home.jsp Cavallino got it all wrong. Corse Clienti will not be at Montreal this year as they erroneously posted. But those going to Mont Tremblant will have a real treat in July !
I'm actually going to Mont Tremblant one week after the Canadian GP. They have their season opening weekend. I'm hoping I'll get to see some Ferraris there. If nothing else it's my first chance at seeing that track in person.
I have Level 24, Section 4. (the last hairpin section) I also want to check out other areas before Sunday. If anyone interested in swapping Friday or Saturday tix, please pm me. I don't want to seat at the same section for all three days. I have 2 tix.
Have been perusing this site for the past year or so as an aspiring Ferrari owner and just booked accommodations for my 3rd Montreal GP. I'll be back on pit lane, which, as exciting as it sounds, doesn't allow for a decent view of the race other than general admission. I may end up picking up some last minute grand stand tickets on site. Is anyone caravanning up from the NY tri-state area? Leaving Friday morning. On a sidenote, I just checked the USD:CAD exchange rate...1.00 USD = 0.990983 CAD. The US $ is now worth less than the Canadian $. How depressing.

The way the american dollar is going soon we will be going to mexico to work because the peso will be worth more than the dollar. I'll be at the race Thursday thru Monday. I'll be a poor american begging at the front gate for canadian pennies
just got my ticks in the mail! anyone that wants to give me the hookup(parties, pit passes, ect.) pm me!
Will be there for my 6th Grand Prix. Sitting in grandstand 12, section 6 right at the Senna curve (the best seats I think!). Driving up from MA but unfortunately will not with my 355 spider. Will be there only Sat & Sun. In the past I have been thre Thu-Sun. Staying at the Hilton again this year. Last year the Hilton was where the Williams team was staying. Theo
Well at least it saves time calculating and/or changing to CND. I still have some CNDs from last year what a great investment that was(7%). LOL.

How long does the GP last exactly? I think it is 2 hrs? My flight will leave Montreal at 6pm so I am a little bit worry about not having enough time to leave the track and stuck in traffic. I have never been to Montreal... anyone knows?
A maximum of 2 hours; you should have enough time. Not sure where you are sitting, just make sure you plan your post-race route; and run, don't walk when the race ends. If you have a car it's a little different than the subway. But - you should make it there by 5PM.... Kevin
i didn't have any problem last year getting back to my hotel in center city. probably about a 20-30min cab ride to the airport. should be fine.
