Sick, sick day for spotting. A silver Porsche Carrera GT on Glen Cove Road this afternoon on my way home from work; two minutes later, a red F430 on Jericho Turnpike turning onto Glen Cove Road. Spotted an old Bentley parked in a gas station in West Hempstead - two minutes later, a white Corvette Sting Ray. I also saw some American convertible from the '50s; it looked awesome.

as far as the white sting ray and american convertibles are concerned, those cars were in the West Hempstead Memorial Day parade! Some interesting cars served as "floats", including a really antique fire truck and Riesterer's Delivery truck (I'm guessing it's at least 70-80 years old). Which gas station was the Bentley in? There's one gas station on Hempstead Avenue that has a permanently parked 1983 Jag XJS HE (12 cylinders). Unfortunately, it's been left outside for the last 5-6 years and has been rotting away. Would probably cost many times its own value to restore it.
