"...started serving eight months in California's Pinellas County Jail on May 9..."

Last time I was in Pinellas County (which was just on Monday) it was in Florida.

Yep....they just played the tape on the local news. The two statements that stand out to me

-His mom asked him where he wants to live in California when he gets out..... Nick answers- "by the beach would be fun"

-His mom says its a shame he's locked-up by himself... "its like where they put triple XXX criminals... not just people who had a traffic accident"

They just played part of the tape on the morning rock station here in Houston. The Hogan's are ****ing asses.

First of all, Nick's whinning about the cell being smaller than his bathroom, having a cot. But what get's me, is that he say's "All you can do is think, but there's nothing to think about."

WHAT!!! There's nothing to think about? How about the way your driving practically killed your so called friend. Or how he can help out John's family.

I think Hulk's comment in the article was taken out of context, and or mis-quoted. The audio I heard had Hulk saying (paraphrasing), "You're handling it better than I think I would. You're more of a man than I am."

Excuse me? He's a man? This family is completely whack.

So they played more tapes on the radio this morning of his convo with his parents.

Apparently, Hulk is working on getting another reality show underway from the point when Nick steps foot out of jail. As they say, "To show what Nick is really like." Funny that he considers himself a celebrity.

Another his mom claims she knew John better than his own mom. That could be true for all we know, but her (and the families) continual denial that Nick did anything wrong is mind-boggling. As well as her saying she's hurting more than John's mom and just after money. Again she could be speaking some truth. But to basically say that his mom doesn't care about John seems a little far fetched.

Then their bad talking about John. Obviously, we don't know what the kid was like, but to say God did this to John for a reason is really sad. And if he was such a bad person, why were John and him such good friends. As they say about kids and parents, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree," also applies to friends.

I don't know exactly what is going on, but Fox TV News this morning at 8:00 said that something about a recent tape from jail "may very well end up getting him more than just eight months in jail"...??? I would assume that would be something more than wanting a bigger cell, or dreaming up which new beachfront you want to live in...maybe contraband, or some such?

I had to leave for work, so I didn't hear the rest of it.

^ Hogwash. It was Brooke that was involved in accident yesterday.

And at the end of the day, this John character was not wearing his seatbelt. END OF STORY.

That's probably one of the tapes I didn't mention. One phone call they were talking in all slang terms. Nick said something about being brought "the bluejay". Someone on the radio said they were told it is a slang term for some sort of drug. They weren't sure if it was legal, or illegal.

Bawlin, what does Brooks accident have to with Nick?

Yeah they played the conversation between Nick and his mother on the radio this morning. She sounded like she was reading from a script, the guys even made a comment about it. Somebody's releasing the tapes, it is probably the Hogans trying to get a new show. At this point it is all a joke.

It does sound like some sort of script.

I'm curious as to how many prisoners are allowed 2 hours of phone calls per day?

True. His only faults were not wearing a seatbelt and being in the wrong place at the wrong time with a driver whose license should have been suspended, or car privledges taken away by "the father of the year."

Probably until somebody bigger than him wants the phone. What else is he going to do in there? They (the Hogan's/Bollea's) won't learn their lesson until they're writing a big check, IMO.

One of the problems with this country is that prisoners can sit around and do nothing all day. When I was a kid I remember seeing a chain gang building a road in the dead heat of summer. That's how jail/prison should be.

Latest update on the local newspaper's website....

Victim's Mother Decries Bolleas' 'Outrageous Conduct'

TAMPA - Incensed over what they say is a clear lack of remorse on the part of the family of Nick Bollea, the parents a man injured in car crash caused by Bollea condemned the "outrageous conduct" exhibited by the family during recent jail conversations.

Today's statement was sparked by the release of the recorded phone conversations of 17-year-old Bollea, who is serving an eight-month sentence for reckless driving in the Aug. 26 crash that caused severe brain damage to his passenger, John Graziano, 23.

Bollea's father, Terry, who is pro wrestler Hulk Hogan, and his family are currently defendants in a civil lawsuit filed by the Grazianos.

The statement said the conversations over the jailhouse telephone show that the Bollea family's statements to the court at the sentencing hearing were insincere.

"It was a true Academy Award performance," said the statement issued by the Tragos and Sartes law firm, whose attorneys are representing the Graziano family in the suit.

"These people [the Bolleas] are the biggest phonies and two-faced individuals that I've ever seen," the statement quoted Debra Graziano, the victim's mother, as saying.

They still do in Texas, at least occasionally. The college I went to, Sam Houston State, was in Huntsville. Sometimes I would see prisoners hoeing and doing yard work at some place along the feeder road of 45.

By the way, radio just said the term "Bluejay" = Xanax.

Hmm, so now the Hogans are bringing in prescription drugs illegally. I say illegally, because if they were legally prescribed to Nick there would be no need to use slang terms.

I think he shares more than a little responsibility. From what I understand he was with Nick all day (so he had knowledge of Nick's alleged drinking) he then knowingly chose to get into the car with Nick behind the wheel in a possibly intoxicated state and then he chose not wear his seatbelt. Also depending on how good of friends they were he most likely had knowledge of his driving habits and past brushes with the law while behind the wheel. I would put his responsibility at 40 -50%.

Whether this is true or not, nothing about it can possibly excuse the unbelievably gross behavior of Nick and Hulk Family after the fact.

They make Dawg the Bounty Hunter and Clan look like the Osmond Family.

Go to you tube and type in Ultimate Warrior TV. I'd do it, but can't log on at the office. I belive it is Ultimate Warrior TV #5.

It's quite odd stuff, but hilarious. He talks about Hulk rubbing lotion on his daughters ass. Then says he should really be putting oil on Nick's ass. Then proceeds to give advice to Nick about not bending over to pick up the soap.

Watch all of his videos for that matter. Great entertainment.
