A friend spotted a CGT on Crowchild today. Whipping down there doing about 160 in some parts (the CGT, not my friend). Said the sound was incredible.

On an unrelated note, a bit of a personal story:
My mom and dad organized a graduation surprise for me. My mom sent an email to Z.R. telling him a little about me (I'm a bit of a car nut ), and asking if there was a chance that I might be able to snag a ride to grad in a Ferrari/Lambo, if anyone was available. Z.R. sent an immediate reply saying that he would personally do it, for free, if he was in town. Unfortunately, my grad happens to be on the weekend of the Canadian GP, so he later sent an email saying he realized he was unable to do so. I didn't find out that my parents were organizing this until tonight.
I'm not writing this to ask for a ride, because it's a week away, and you all have many better things to do. But I just want to say a public thank you to Z.R. for the unbelievably good customer service and generosity.

Yeah... back on topic.

 

Wow rmk, I've driven around and seen some cool houses but I've yet to see that one.

Spotted ZR's Novitec 430 stuck in traffic on Deerfoot around 6:00PM today. I wouldn't be able to be stuck in traffic with that car!

 

These are the kind of stores that give me warm fuzzies. The more I hear about ZR he is a real class act.

2 x 997 turbo(red, black), silver bentley cgt, yellow 360 spider on 4th street or close by and a black db9 outside of melrose.

 

We can work something out. Watch for me on the TV waving a big cheque.

Spotted a Green Bentley GT, white R8 with black side blade, and a black Mondial with the top down driving up and down 17th D)

 

That's what I call an R8 ... it just got the carbon side blade... he was tired of the silver

Also saw a Red F430 Coupe and Spider, Grey Vantage coupe, Green and Black Bentley GTs, Orange Murci coupe, Black 997 Turbo, Black 996 Turbo, Orange 996 Turbo Cab... there were plenty more, but I forget.

Is there anything going on (car event or cruise)in Calgary 2nd or 3rd week in June?

I will be up to visit siblings and shopping, taking the Ferrari to stretch her legs..

 

You ought to call ZR to get in on the next track day. His group is technically "full" but one couple will be out of town, so there will be an opening.

 

ZR is organizing a run to the Okanogan on the June 20-22 weekend

Blue Quattroporte w/ dealer plates infront of the Tin Palace on 4th

Thought I saw a dark silver Maser GranTurismo on Saturday
Also saw the Orange Murcielago in that heavy downpour on Friday around 9th ave. The alleged damage to the car was not noticed.

Two weeks or so ago the BLINGX2 550 cruised down 9th Ave. and I watched him purr all the way to 1st St from my office. Love the sound of the V12.

Yea. Saw that same car. It looked great!! Also across the street there was a Heritage Ford GT parked.

 

Negatory. If you pick up a ticket and win, I'll take a black Carrera GT.

 

Too bad i never saw that!! i was just walking down the road. i saw a few bentleys though, but the gt2 really stood out to me

 

Spotted a silverstone 430 coupe with Kulu plate frame on the way into downtown this morning via 8th St. SW. Hottest color for sure.

Does anyone know who drives the white Gallardo with the plate of "KING 02" ?

 

Nice find Ian, it looks amazing in white!

My guess: Ken King or family member. But I really have no idea.

 

That car is in Edmonton.
