If a Kevlar clutch disc is "indestructable" does that mean the flywheel and pressure plates "suffer" more? I mean normally the clutch disc is meant to be the sacraficial item in this chain (like brake pads in the braking system).

Good question, although the stated goal of installing a Kevlar clutch system is to replace clutches (as a whole) less-often, not just replace different parts at the same rate.....so I'm less inclined to believe that clutch wear will just 'shift' from one component to others, magically causing uneven wear throughout the system.

Thanks for the info on the flywheel thickness, our's appeared to have been cut once before. I had it cut again and it is still within spec. So now all I have to do is slap it back in and get the car on the road again (even found the timing marks after I got it cleaned up).

    Thanks again.
