I have an '05 murci roadster that I purchased last year (through Kevin and Roy - Very happy about the transaction by the way). Previously I owned a '99 SV with back up camera. It was helpful in the blind spot.
The murci has no back up camera and the visibilty to the rear is actually less than the SV.
Has anyone had experience with a wireless rearview camera? As many of you know the stereo in this car is very poor, so ideally I would like to replace the stereo, add GPS and a rear camera.
    Any thoughts??

Why not just hard wire it? it can be hidden very easily and then you also dont have to worry about batteries. If done professionally it will look like factory if noticeable at all. As for the the stereo if you get a high quality unit with a flip out screen, you can do a AV input in the back for the camera. and GPS is more common now to have built into a high end aftermarket stereo. Hopefully more users and possibly diablo owners can chime in here.

I installed a wireless backup camera in my Superformance GT40 replica. It only cost about $75 at Costco and it works great.

OK how about this. The rear view mirror in the murci is virtually worthless. So how about a wireless rearview camera with the monitor being the rear view mirror, or at least mounting a monitor in the rearview mirror location. Anyone have any leads for this kind of set up???

Has anyone used the Sports Imports one yet? Is it any good? Is it truly wireless or does it require some hardwiring?
