The ones that failed were original Enzo. We made up the new ones. Not sure why they failed. See this thread:

Is it correct Jim that Pininfarina will manufacture a couple of more P4/5's?

Nope. I own the intellectual property for P 4/5 and there will never be another one.

    Jason,
    Nice pictures (as usual)..
In the 2nd one, it looks like a Passport SRX is integrated right above the GPS unit.. with a car like that, most certainly useful!.. though I am somewhat curious as to where the hardware is mounted and if pininfarina (and you, Jim) figured this into their design from the get-go.

That was figured out before we built her but I did make a few changes in the location of the switches after driving her for a while.

    Nice Shots!

Awesome pictures! I have to agree with some of the others, the 4th picture is the best.

I believe the answer to that is no - Jim has said before that he owns the rights to the design. I'm certain you could get a different design, though.

    Mr. G--

There was another thread recently about an aftermarket package for the Enzo that added horsepower, etc., and I was of the opinion that it would be better to just make it lighter.

This got me thinking that I couldn't remember you ever discussing why your car was lighter than the standard Enzo.

What's different (or lacking, I guess I should say) on your car that makes it lighter?

Thanks. And always great to see her on the road.

    Matt
