F430 Coupe -- Is it a steal?

yeah that actually looks like a really good deal

 

From what I recall, the sport seats alone are a 15K option, and it has the ceramic brakes. I say it is a great deal.

Beautiful car, but the yellow on the steering wheel looks dopey to me. Would be a visual distraction. Anyone know any functional reason for it? Also, it would be a visual obstacle when looking at the yellow tach.

Do you think the large sprot seats could be turning people away?

 

I think the sport seats cost about the same as electric daytona seats, 5k +/-

That seems like a fair price. The fact that it is almost three years old and has that little mileage is not necessarily a good thing. I like the way it is optioned though.

 

Me too. Like the contrasting stitching. Not crazy about the yellow steering wheel.

I came across this during my search and had it on my list. I'm a newbie, but I felt the sprt seats looked a littel uncomfortable and I wondered how universally they fit? That car has size large in it.

 

Who ever ordered the car wanted red/black and was going to work yellow in some place. The calipers one can live with if not change. The stitching; well yoiu have it for good. But the yellow steering wheel?

Can't say this is a "killer" deal.. but not a bad deal. I would certainly replace the steering wheel.. or cover that yellow with some duct tape or let one of the kids color it in with a sharpe marker

 

How does a 2 1/2 year old car have 300 miles? I wonder if it has been sitting there all this time. Price looks attractive but since it's been for sale all this time, market says "high". Anyway, thanks for the interesting link.

 

When specing the car, racing/sport seats are approx. a 5K. option. Over the counter or after production they're approx. 15K.

 

8 cars on Autotrader with ASK prices less than $200k (lowest was 185k). My prediction of $125k 430s in 2012 looks pretty good right now

the wheel is titz

do a search on racing seats, some think they are much better than daytonas. one thing is for sure - in 430's racing seats are hard to sell. all sizes other than large are too small
