Hi All, Just saw this thread. Current collection 1999 996S (This one has 19,000 all my mileage)
2002 998R (Very fast for those special days)
2000 MH900e (Very light and perfect for Glendora Mountain Road or the Santa Monica Mountains.
2006 ST3S (Great Touring bike) Perfect for quick runs to Laguna Seca
2000 MV Agusta F4 750. Very smooth engine and remarkable handling
1999 Aprilia Scarabeo Scooter for my wife. Psuedo Gucci box on the back, Very chic
All very fun. Good mountain roads around here. Particularly when the CHP has something else to do.
All parked right in front of a Rossa Corsa Stradale. It is a fun garage!

93 900 ss in my garage. Now if that thing had a vfr 750 motor in it it would be a two wheeled Ferrari. As is, it mostly just looks good.

I have a 1098S that replaced my MH900e - both great bikes. Now if I could find a way to get my first F car in the garage, maybe if the Porsche sells.

I became interested in motorcycles last winter, after not really caring about them at all, forever...
I've always been very focused on cars only, which is why I have a 2001 M3 and a 1977 308 GTB.

Last winter my neighbor let me ride his Harley Fatboy. Huge, heavy, hard to steer, but I LOVED it!
My Italian gene kicked in, and I began examining options for purchase. I landed on a 2005 Ducati S2R 800 Monster.
Got that bike last December, and REALLY LOVED it! Great handling, decent power. I was visiting Eximport here in Houston often, and absolutely DROOLING over the 1098!

So, 4 weeks ago I traded the Monster for a 2008 1098. WOW--what a bike. Gorgeous, twice the horsepower (160), about the same weight (400lbs), so the difference in performance is considerable.
I'm still not to 600 miles so I'm holding her below 6000rpm-for now! I test drove a demo 1098 before purchase and wrapped up the engine to 10-12k--UNBELIEVABLE!!! These things have long gears and beg to be revved... Motorcycles really make most cars seem boring by comparison!

Anyway, I find myself consumed by this Ducati thing lately..... Still love Ferrari though, my loyalty will never shift totally! :)

2006 749s - gloss black with white tail and termi's. The last year. The way they should have made it and the 999 from the start. See my member page.

I am on the dealer list for the new monster design once they get the bigger motors in the new style. I think it is a very beautiful new design. I go to the factory every spring. What a great area for riding and driving. You guys need to go to bologna and them head north into the dolomites for great roads and breathtaking scenery. Do it on a duc.

One of my clients has a desmo rr. Keeps it in his office at the entry with many other ducs. Had a fuel leak the other day out and about and had to call in the dealer to pick it up for repair.

Yep, Eximport is a candy store, for sure! I hear their service dept. is lacking, however.
Once I'm out of warranty I'll use Metric Motorcycles here in Houston...

I only used the service dept once. They replaced the speedo on my S2r. They ordered the part while still in warranty and held onto it until I could get the bike to Houston 3 months later. (out of warranty, no less)

Nice bikes. I've still got my 996, sold the Harris Duc. However, did get to ride the Hailwood Duck (started it) at the Isle of Man last year. Was there with Steve Wynne, the guy who built it for Hailwood.
