Took her out for a ride. I'm the original owner. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You have preserved her well. Has condition/maintenance always been on this level? Were there times you were tempted to part?
Thanks. No never tempted to part. Ever. I bought this car new when I was 24. Not many people are original owners of these cars. Heck, I even have the "clock tag," which is just like the Dino's. It actually could use a better repaint. As is often the case, it looks a little better in photos than in the metal. Hope to address that shortly. Overall though, yes, I have kept her in good shape.
Thanks. Good call spotting the Cromodoras! Yes, on the 82's. Mine is an 81 and they were optional. Here is what the brochure looked like for that year. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not a problem. And keep in mind I could have bought another mint Fiat Spider for what I paid for a major service on the Mondial.
very very nice, I am the original owner of my 73 124 but with 300,000 miles on it, it does not look that good at all. my 124 now sits most of the time as the Dino is more fun to drive but I see pictures of the 124 like yours and wonder if I should not get into it and do some resto work on it.
