HOU Ferrari and Exotic Spotters

There was a yellow murcie roadster parked infront of the montebello skyrise in uptown park at around 7 tonight

 

Dark Grey SLR at Maggiano's around 7:30 tonite

 

Franco has an Enzo, covered in diamonds.....1:18....

Man, the red 308GTB Art Car was at the opening of the Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark Sunday, hanging out with the Urban Animals Skate club..Randall gave the opening comments, along with the Mayor..it was last seen with two female pro skaters AND GEAR crammed into his two seater, heading down Allen Parkway on the way back to the Hyatt with them...


I think he wanted to show them the "famous Enzo oak tree" at Allen Parkway Village.

They took the last of Speedy308's Modelo 12 pack that was behind the seat, and they all went up to the room to cool off.......

 

This morning I saw a black 348 TS at the Conoco on White Oak & Studewood.

I took my kids to see the skate park late last night.........man I wish I was still coordinated enough to get on a deck again.

 

How was it? It looks like a sweet park. Packed I bet.

It was off the hook crowded man, they had one section closed off for the pros to give demos...that's where these babes were skating......LOL!

I told them "wait a minute, while I go for my art car...", then you should have seen the look on their faces ! They were taking more pics of my nose badge on their phones, even as I left the Hyatt....

Some kid snapped his board and was kind of glum, I slipped him a $20, and told him "get to work and salvage your hardware..."

It was a wonderful day.......

 

I had my old Hobie board with me, a sign of the times that three of the four wheels had frozen bearings.......I had a new set but didn't feel like wrenching on it........was busy, looking over the prospects!

 

Saw the black 599 with the prancing horse skeleton stickers outside the Valobra shop around 3:30 today and was able to take a few quick shots. It was in dire need of a car wash.

Nice pics! Ya, when I saw it, it needed a wash too. I'd guess that by the modifications he has and the appearance of the car, that he drives it harder than most Ferrari owners. It's such a mean looking car.

 

other than the stickers and the items next to the license plate, there aren't any modifications that aren't from the factory.

 

Black LP640 up here in the Woodlands in the sterling ridge shopping center....

 

Tonight while sitting out having coffee a black 360 drove by as well as a white 997 GT2. The GT2 looks killer, 10x better looking than the normal turbo.

 

Last night in uptown park I saw a murci roadster that was black on black w/black rims and a grey Ferrari 430 spider w/black rims driving together. One word....sick!!!

 

It is truly a "unique" car here in the states, though.

I was in town to watch the 'Stros get horsewhipped sat and spotted a 246 GTS getting off 610 at Kirby sat morning ~ 10am. Heading to the Reliant show? Followed by a red 430 a little farther up the road. Man, I love car spotting in Houston! Bently GT's, Quattroportes, and Lambo's, OH MY!

Very nice!! I wish I had time to go see the show! I passed by Reliant when everybody was packing up and leaving sun afternoon on my way to HOU. Saw a nice Daytona on a flatbed that was pulling a trailer with a Bug in it.

Lime Green Gallardo Spyder at Men's Club Saturday night. ~12am, next to the front door, top down. I believe it was the same one at LoH during Coffee and Cars.

 

This is a very special 599 with Italian plates. The car was custom made by Ferrari. Black Exhaust Tips , black lights, dark wheels, tinted windows, 4 point red seatbelts (Not yet available for production), roll bar, 100% carbon shell seats, custom brake pads, custom suspensions, custom ECUs, diamond leather roof, etc. etc. The car has been tested at Fiorano by Benuzzi for 100+ miles to meet certain requirements. Everything was made by the factory, nothing is aftermarket. It is said that is was also the fastest 599 ever produced, beating production record by a day. It's a one of a kind car. The horse is a "Pirate" horse. Item on the right of the plate is RossoCorsa's badge. Car has of course LC, unlike US cars, and "secret" LC Model on the paddle (Some 599s have it). This car, with a GPS tracking performance unit on board, reached 0 to 60 in 3.6 secs, without LC, secret LC, 3/4 tank full, regular road. It is very likely that with right conditions the car will reach 3.4 secs. 3.8 is the standard everyday performance. A 430, for example has a standard 0-60 of 4.4 secs. almost impossible to fall under 4 secs in normal conditions, on a normal road. Obviously it's a very nice engine, which has a very nice ECU.

 

Musta just missed that one. That's about the time I was coming back in sat night after the game. (was staying at the Hilton next door )

It may not have been, but that just seems so unlikely that it was a different car.

 

Thanks for the info! How do you know so much about it? I knew there was something special about that car. It didn't seem like the typical 599. While most 599's are a eat-other-cars-in-style type of cars, this seemed more of a scare-other-cars-to-death-then-destroy-them. Quite nice.

 

Thats really cool!! Wish I had known all of that when I saw it so i could've appreciated it more. I did notice the outside modifications, the seatbelts and the roll-cage though. Wish I hadn't been in such a hurry, and taken more, and better pictures. It is by far the coolest 599 that i have ever seen.
