naw, I gave up skid'ing and scraping after the first year, but thanks for asking! I've also got the front spoiler Lip to help hold everything together - so far so good.

Good to see they went to a good home. You going to frame them? :D

Here we go again, politicans stepping into territory they have absolutely no business being in. Doesn't matter what the people or the market wants, but the government will decide whats best for the population. (kinda like how the communist LCBO is run). Sickening! This politician should be shot and **** on.

If you allow me to rant guys I have a topic that's been pissing me off for a year now!

About a year ago, fresh out of school life brought me to Yellowknife. The pay was good and it looked like a great opportunity to learn a lot about a lot of different airplanes. Anyways so I move to Yellowknife and things are going great!

Flash forward to two months ago when I get my first "real" car so to speak (an '01 Jetta VR6 5 Speed) and I want to drive it! I want to drive it hard, the engine revs' to 7k, it wants to rev. But I also want to take care of the safety of myself and others, there are two many variables driving the car at speed on public roads for more then very brief stretches not to mention it's illegal.

But guess what there's no opportunities where I live to legally and SAFELY exploit the car and have fun with it. There's race city down in Calgary but that 1700km away! Other then that there aren't any opportunities.

Frankly this is unacceptable, we want our young people to obey the law and not street race, or take unnecessary risks, but we don't give them a place where they CAN do that?!?!?!?! Frankly that's unacceptable in a country with our population density!

first of all your in YELLOWKNIFE! you can't be serious about not being able to find some back country road where you can tear it up a little? if kids can do it in Toronto and only manage to kill someone once/month then you should be able to find a road to in the middle of nowhere and only kill your self????

I highly doubt somebody is going to invest in a race track up in the NWT. Snow should be falling up in those parts in what...3 more weeks? ;) If you want to track your car, you'll need to live in a place with some population density.

This is really the wrong place for your b****ing.

Not to mention that this argument is utter BS..."they" must make a track, "they" must keep kids safe, blah, blah, blah.

If you really want to drive in an appropriate, performance-oriented environment, you'll make the sacrifices to make it happen. If you don't, you won't.

It's up to you, not "them".

great advice - work with the community: even a sanctioned drag strip event with safety gear/training, or whatever. work with - not against "them".

or fly into Calgary, Las Vegas, or wherever.

PS: When you get old and grey it's not "them" but "us". :(
we're all in this together, somehow...

How about we merge this concern to off topic shall we.

I hope you get to race your Jetta soon enough. Best thing to do is make a trip to your nearest province with a track. Plan it out with a club and make a weekend out of it.

My family and I just got invited to a BBQ earlier by a new neighbor. Much like us (the family and I) the new neighbors had just moved into BC from LA too. Suprisingly, one of the groups that was there were discussing how New West/Burnaby prostitutes were BETTER looking than the Surrey prosties. I tried to dodge it but it was too late, one of the guys asked me what I thought. I haven't really noticed much of the "working class women" from both areas so I decided to plea the 5th.

With that said, is it true that there are a lot of working girls in the New West/Burnaby/Surrey areas or were they just jerking my chain? I know I probably sound stupid right now but like I said, I really haven't seen any (atleast where Im currently located) on Kingsway. Are they dressed differently from the Sunset Strip curbies or something (can't decipher them from the "junkies" and the "bums" :D)? Are there particular areas that they frequent or something or am I just a blind bat?

Kinda scary now that I think about it cause my wife and the kids usually likes to stroll along Kingsway after dinner to the local ice cream parlor!

Perhaps you should move east ;)

Just wondering if it's OK to post a Mosport DE track video, that has some Ferrari content but not all. 2 Ferrari's, a few Vette's, Porsche's, ......
If I recall the conversation with the owner of the 430, he mentioned being a member on this forum.

I'm confused as to what the issue may be. This is FERRARICHAT, but we have a Lamborghini section, a Maserati section, and many events pictures and videos show everything from Abarths to Volvos.

Chris I've come across this issue on other forums, so I pose the question.

I drove my Audi to this event to test out my new incar video setup.

Eshel, it never hurts to ask. I don't see a problem. But I know what you mean. Some guys worry when there is a crash, license plates or other stuff shown which may bother them. I say post it. If someone doesnt like it they can press the "i" button which rings the bell of my cave and I come out to delete it :D

    Thanks for posting!
