    Have 'em all Joe (packed away somewhere). Halsteads LP400 metamorphis was an inspiration in those days - sensational car in the flesh..

    It will be a time that will not be repeated - the Aussie mafia of Nichols, Robinson, Cropley and to a lesser extent Green (when they owned CAR magazine) had unprecedented access to the factory - as expats they bonded with Wallace and you didn't get the bullsh*t of other mags..

    De Cecillia`s LP 400 was featured in a fantastic clip of about 20 minutes from Austrian TV some years ago incl. spectacular camera positions! I have it somewhere on video.

    This Countach shows the purity of line and the very economical use of space taken up by this marvelous machine. Art on wheels; too bad the aesthetics could not be enhanced later or even maintained...

    Saw this one two times in Biarritz on the Atlantic coast of France just north of Spain summer 1980. I was 16 and had no idea about chassis numbers. No one seems to know anything about it. I tracked down the garage of which there is a sticker on the back of the car but even though they remembered the car from 28 years ago they have not seen it since and do not know of its whereabouts.

    Note the sticker for a nightclub: cute.
