Isn't it obvious that Alonso's dad sabotaged the car?

It's interesting that the car was registered in Munich. I wonder whose car he wrecked.

Those darn nervous Carrera GT's always getting away from people, perhaps it was the Ceramic Clutch.

Funny. A crash instantly means one is not a good driver. Schumy must be a terrible driver then!
It simply means one was pushing the limits, and it got away. I don't particularly like Hamy's dad, but CGT's are not know to be the most stable handling cars. Doub't the clutch had anything to do with it either.

Maybe he was trying to drive on severely worn tyres. ;)

    You're right.

"Pushing the limits" as you say on public residential roads, showing off and then plowing into a children's play area in a borrowed 6 fig car also makes you an idiot.

To be honest, I have done this myself in a Porsche, although it was one with a renowned twitchy back end, and I didn't hit anything, and I was a lot younger than Ant Ham at the time.

It's totally embarrassing..live and learn job, quite plain to see he hadn't.

From the article "Later, he said: “This is my first crash in almost 30 years and it had to happen in someone else’s car. Thankfully the only thing hurt was the car and a bush fence, for which I am extremely sorry.”"

So he's sorry about wrecking the bush fence but not the car? :)

I see a conjunction in that sentence ;)

but, I suspect the owner, who ever that is, is gleefully looking over new sales literature for the next toy, not to mention Anthony's case of Dom Perignon, a new watch and dates with some models for the next year. every thing has a silver lining....Perhaps he'll donate the car to the playground

I've heard from several different sources that there is an issue with snap over steer.

FofSF had one traded in for a Ferrari about eight months ago, same color combo. R-R wheel was broken off. Giuseppe, one of their Italian mechs., was fixing the rear end. Heard it got away from driver on a quick 'near' straightaway. Perhaps some truth to the oversteer, or more likely lack of driver abilities.
