Official 2008 Tri-State Spotters Thread

This is strange, today I found yet another Lotus in my ''hood''. It was an Exige, and it was yellow just like the Elise I saw yesterday. To make things even more strange, I spotted it at the same time as the Elise yesterday, 6:00pm. The car was parked in a truck renting companies lot on Northen Blvd. Photos are located on my site -

I wonder if some moron was parallel parking and backed into the Lotus. These Lotuses are made of egg shells and cannot sustain much impact. Ask me how I know after I had $10,000 of repairs because I hit a raccoon.

Just to up your Lotus IQ, that Elise and Exige are actually different yellows. The Elise is Saffron Yellow which is a flat yellow and is a standard color, and the Exige is Solar Yellow which is a metallic yellow and costs $$.

Not exactly a street spot, but today I visited Champion and the XJ220 was parked outside. What a perfect opportunity for photos. It was parked in the back where all the cars in for service usually go. Maybe their going to work on it after the ''Super Car Rally''. Photos are here -

This was a Long Island raccoon which tend to be fatter, sloppier and dumber. A Westchester raccoon would be slimmer, classier, and a bit more intelligent
