    Hi guys,

I am seriously looking to purchase a 355. However, due to weather in my place, 35 deg C and 90% humidity year round, air conditioning is a must. I've heard many good remarks and many poor remarks on the 355's air cond performance. Compared to BMW, Mercedes or Lexus air cond, how would you guys rate the performance your 355's air cond coolness. I don't expect it to be better, but on a scale of 1 to 10, if the BMW was 10, how would you rate your 355?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    P

i can answer you on this with first hand experience

compared to your BMW the F355 is a 9 ...maybe even equal to (a 10)

more than enough capacity to keep you cool and dry in the conditions you spec

I was pretty happy with the AC in my 355. Its the Benz that has the crappy AC.

I have been pleasantly surprised with my 355 A/C. Have been driving around on 105 degree days here in Phoenix and have had no issues (granted the humitiy here is low). The A/C on my 1992 BMW 325 was not able to keep up here in the summer. If my BMW was a 10, my 355 is a 12 (20% colder).

The F355 has the best A/C of any car I have ever driven. That includes multiple Merc/BMW/etc.

I've been driving it in 95-105 degree weather and I'm cool as shiz

    Regards,

    Kevin

Holy CR*P ain't that the truth! My '06 E500 has air supply issues from HELL.
Never in my life had a car with a weirder AC/heat system. IMPOSSIBLE to
get to work right. My Hyundai Santa Fe ran CIRCLES around the Benz!

Vent mode off. Won't start on computer issues.

    :D

I have on 2001 bmw 540 and it cools really well, I must be the exception. ;) I would rate the F355 as a 7 or 8. Not bad, but can take a few minutes longer to cool down the cabin (on those rare times I have the top up). But once cooled it keeps up well, even on a 90 degree day. I think you will be fine. If it is not keeping up, you may simply need the system recharged or serviced.

355 AC is great. 99F and 93% humidity in DC today, and I had to turn the AC down so I wouldn't freeze.

yup...the AC works well. Just drove her around Hotlanta. The car has no problems keeping a cool interior.....and my hair didn't frizz one bit! :D

    A/C in the BMW X5 is a 13 on a scale from 1 to 10. I give the 355 a 7. I give my 2003 e-500 an 8.

But thats due to the fact that you are driving a Ferrari, and has nothing to do with the AC :p
