Not enough
Dear Ferraristi, My experience has gone the other way. Most of the women I've seen "around" the F and L cars are just gold-diggers. I would have alot of respect and admiration for a woman who actually bought the car herself. I was on the Dolceblonde thread on Lchat. All were welcoming untill it was dug up that she was on some "sugar daddy" wanted website. ....so typical. For me all I hear is "spend money on me " . How about buying me a drink for a change....I would respect that. How about the gals coming on the site for car info and technical assistance? .....I've yet to see that. Shamile Freeze...Miami Vice !
wetpet's not a gal. He sure gets alot of pix with the gals though ....maybe he buys them alot of drinks? Shamile Freeze....Maimi Vice !
Yeah. Datsun 240Z w/ custom Chevy 350 V8. Still sucks the paint off most street F cars. Thanks for remembering!
There was the alaska 308 owner, ... But most posts in the tech section are talking about the cars, not the owners. There could have been a dozen questions from women, but you might not notice the gender of the asker, if you're looking at the tech issue. In a generation of compulsive consumers, the young attractive people are programmed to think of their looks as a commodity. So there'll be a large number of cash focused people in the club set. Especially if you limit yourself to looking among those who aren't already "involved". But there are, here and there, a few genuine motor head women. They're in demand, so you probably won't find 'em hanging around the meet market. If you mostly go where the unattached women hang out, you may discover that there's a reason why those particular women are unattached.
Heya, I'm back! Previous F355 has gone and erm, been replaced with another F355 (just slightly newer!)
Hi from Downunder! When I first found Fchat I was hopeful that it might lead to a few fellow travellers (ie girls who bought their own Fcars because they have a real love of the cars and driving them) but that hasn't really happened... Here in Aus there are about a dozen I can think of in that category (cars range from magnificent 365, I'd say one of the best 246 Dinos in Aus, through to latest models). My 308GTS was a dream from early adulthood and every time I drive it (which is often) it makes me smile (except when I get caught in the rain at night ) Image Unavailable, Please Login
Are you talking about the movie producer...? If so, I concur. With everything. It's a big boat and there are a lot of us in it.
Hello Karen, welcome! The problem in my opinion is not the lack of female Ferrari owners / F chatters / car lovers, but rather the fact they do not post as often or do not post at all, for whatever the reason. Interestingly enough, I do not recall seeing a female f-chatter posting in the business / religion / politics section, not sure why....
Ok, my prime directive in here is car stuff. Or off the wall crap. I do have one quote for the religion section: "It's ok to prey for a Ferrari. But not to prey to one". My certified Ferrari mechanic.
You might pray for a Ferrari or pray to a Ferrari. It's the women who prey on a Ferrari owner that make guys nervous. (Freudian slip showing? ) Gee, I wonder why there aren't more women on the "cigars" or "two ton watch and astrolabe" threads. (sarcasm) Now if there were a D&G or Max Factor thread, ...
Well at least this thread is useful in that I now know Wetpet is a bloke - I could never figure it out! But I DO like your avatar Wetpet (as a fellow Bambino owner!)
I do tend to get into 'those' discussions in the Aussie thread - not much point in getting involved in some other country's problems! FWIW, I tend to go to Aus, Asia, General, 308, and technical sections with sometimes as detour into off-topic and other Italian stuff.
Thanks Bubba Maranello and GranSport owner here, don't owe anything on either. I appreciate all the great information available on this site and try to ignore the bickering and BS; just trying to listen and learn more than talk, something a few members on here could benefit from too LOL Don't worry, I can take it as well as I can dish it out, and I sure can dish it out - but as I'm sure those who have kids have quickly learned, there's value in picking your battles. Oh and - Hi Karen!
ROTFLMAO! As a brand new Ducati owner and Maser driver, Yuliya of course totally qualifies, her husband has the 550....... Nice thread in Collectibles Section..."hat's off" to that..... See? There's actually LOTS of them....we could always use more though.....we'd HAVE more if the Internet wasn't such a common place to 'lose' all the manners yo' mamma and daddy taught you....
