    i cant wait till it comes

    what is done so far:

    1974 RAT ROD BUG which feature the following: 4" drop, 1770cc TURBO CHARGED engine, Custom intake manifold, Blow through carb set up, 6" over front end, 3" drop front end, and removable rag top

    I like them. I thought about building/getting one. Some of the things that would really look great on yours is to install bigger front headlights, the old 32 (or so) style Ford front end (the suspension, not a replica hood) and the wire wheels, maybe some replica WW2 bomber seats.

    Needs a nerf bar behind the turbo and is that a battery box above the motor ?
    That has to go.

    Oh yeah, almost forgot. Needs an antenna with a racoon tail.

    Looks like lots of grin per dollar.

    They never made a factory rag in the 70's and infact i think they stopped making rags in 66. so that top is a custom job, and it would make sense since the car is chopped. Not bad though. I've got a 57 Oval that i'm working on, and trying to get it show worthy.

    That is one TINY turbo. It needs atleast a GT28R on it.

    my uncle had a Bug similar to that back in the early/mid 80's. I only got to ride in it a few times, but it was a blast! Unfortunately it got wrecked, put behind the garage, and forgotten, and it slowly disintegrated. glad you're not letting that happen here :) enjoy the project, and the finished result!
