Wow! Very exciting - I'd love to see a Mangusta! I'll keep my eyes peeled. My own sightings from the last two days: Sunday, June 1: at around 8:00pm on 15th heading out of downtown going towards the South Platte, a dark-colored Morgan Roadster. Sorry for the shaky photo, but dusk is hard on any camera. However, the new camera proved awesome once again when, at 8:20, with the sun almost completely set, I caught a silver Bentley Arnage, which the camera captured perfectly. My old camera would've needed a flash for that shot! Monday, June 2: A gorgeous lineup at Cherry Creek Mall valet at 7pm consisted of a Bentley Continental GT Speed, Jaguar E-Type, and Ferrari F430 Spider. Here is the Continental GT Speed, here is the F430 Spider (which later turned up at Elway's), and here is a great shot of the Bentley and the Jaguar.
Not an FCar but worthy of mention due to driving style. A grey 997 turbo cab with paper tags going about 140MPH on I70 around Rifle.
Hello everyone! Just joined and thought I should say a quick hello. As far as contibuting to the spotting thread....well I have seen a few 360's but the nicest I have seen in Denver was a Black Enzo last summer. Was amazing! By the way....has there been any interest in organizing a "Cars and Coffee" type gathering. There are some amazing cars here in the Denver area and it would be great to get those interested with nice cars together once a month or so! Thanks!!!
Welcome! As for a get together there is one every first Saturday in the month: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=192586
I saw a yellow 550 or 575 in front of king soopers on harmony and college in Fort Collins on june 4th, around 6ish pm. It had a PPIR decal of some sort on the driver side rear window. I was just hoping to find the driver on here to say that it made my day to see it. The PPIR sticker got my brain going as to how much fun it would be to flog that car on the track.
Even though it was on a trailer, I couldn't resist posting this one: a silver DeLorean DMC-12 being towed behind a Ford Expedition heading eastbound on I-70 at Havana, around noon today. Prior to that sighting, it had been two years since I saw a DeLorean - very cool!
I saw this 550 Maranello in Laramie, Wyoming last summer. It appears to be the same one with the PPIR sticker on each side.
Last night around 7:30pm, a black Aston-Martin V8 Vantage on temporary plates from Sill-Terhar on Franklin and Mississippi just east of Wash Park... and today around 4:20pm, a black Bentley Continental GT Speed also on temporary plates at 2nd and Steele.
Saw a black 599 yesterday on Hampden just east of University. It was disappointing in the flesh, IMO. Nice car, but not my style.
A couple decent cars out tonight, both well past 8pm: a dark gray Audi R8 at Elway's, and a dark gray Dodge Viper GTS on University of Colorado plates on 2nd and Clayton.
When was the last time you saw a Ferrari (Yellow Testarrosa) at a used car lot on West Colfax? Don't remember the name of the car lot but it was on the south side of Colfax between Federal and Wadsworth. I was driving by and it caught my attention.
... and earlier this week I saw one on EB 58 coming out of Golden that was done up with full Back to the Future add-ons. What a hoot!
A squadron of Corvettes heading west on I70 going through Vail. Looked like mostly C5's, and a hand full of C6's...only noticed one ZO6 (black C5) could very well have been a coupe though, I couldn't see the side intakes since it was a black car.
Exciting day today: around 2:30pm, a white Bentley Arnage on dealer plates was parked at Cherry Creek Mall, and just a block away at Elway's was a gold Ferrari 612 Scaglietti! Regardless of whether you approve of that vehicle's styling, it's a pretty cool spot! Here is a side shot, and here's one of the rear. Also caught the new Wyoming license plate... I kind of like it!
Black Continental GTC, topless yellow 360 Spider which challenge grill (hott), and 996 turbo cab in Evergreen this afternoon. Also saw a group of 5 Smart cars near Empire the other day, which was interesting. Also, 74 from Evergreen to Morrison is a hoot!
I spotted a silver Arnage heading south on Speer by the Pepsi Center around 5:30pm Saturday...that car has so much style when seen in motion!
Good question....it sure looked interesting enough to get my attention from a "drive-by" perspective.....
I have always loved the Arnage, Beautiful car. I still miss seeing my former employers cars in the lot. Stunning.
