Fantastic job by BMW! Many of us have been rooting for them and they finally get a well deserved win. Kubica is rising fast. anything can happen in a race and even though still not the fastest car on grid, being fast was enough. I hope they can keep the momentum going, would be great for a 3 team battle to the wire! Massa drove a solid race, took advantage of some opportunities, brought home some points. And Hamilton... you have to be a really really really big supporter to buy all that BS. Doesn't take any responsiblity for his cock ups. Yes, drivers will all make mistakes, but at least own up to it. He got hot headed, lost his head, and ended Kimi's race, and the strong possibililty of Kimi winning. Ridiculous.
The least Hamilton could have done, after making that stupid mistake, was to apologize to Kimi. Does he do that? No. Seems to be above such niceties. Proves I was right in disliking him all the way. No, I thought it was a gutsy move, I was impressed that he pulled it off. I was far less impressed, however, that he couldn't pass the Toyotas, only got by Trulli when Jarno was blocked by Timo and then spent the last 4 laps watching the back end of Glock's Toyota, a car clearly inferior to the Ferrari and yet Massa never got by. All of you who think Massa had a great race, well all I saw was a supposed WDC contender have his two main rivals drop out of the race and what does he do? He spends the better part of the race struggling to get by Force India, STR, and Honda. I thought it was a pathetic performance. Champions are made by taking advantage of the mistakes of your rival and driving your arse off. Massa didn't do crap all race long until 10 laps from the end. Where the hell was he? The fueling error happened somewhere around lap 20, what the hell was he doing for the other 50 laps of the race? You want to see what a champion does in a situation like that? Watch Senna's race in Japan in 1988. Watch Schumacher's final race. That is what champions do when faced with adversity. Not struggle around the track trying to pass STRs and Force India cars and settle for a pathetic fifth palce finish while being held off by Timo Gloack and being smoked by Renaults and Red Bulls. The only thing that was clearly demonstrated today is that the best #2 in F1 today is Nick Heidfeld. Not Massa, and certainly not HK (whose own performance was even more pathetic than Massa's). I am amazed at the backslapping going on around here over Massa's performance. I think it is inexcusable for him to not be on the podium when hos two rivals are knocked out of the race and he is the only Ferrari on the track. Completely inexcusable. And to be held off by Alonso's Renault and to be beaten to the finish line By Timo Glock and DC? Absolutely outrageous. If Alonso can hold off Massa while driving a Renault, he would have won the race outright had he been driving Massa's Ferrari. No question whatsoever. Fortunately we'll be seeing that soon enough.
Just wondering if KR would have possibly gotten a penalty if not for the LH incident. He came out of the pits to assume a position right beside RK, while I believe he should have gave way, although I can't really decide from watching the youtube clips (while they're still up...). Don't think I've ever seen a situation where 2 cars sit side by side in the pit lane. How would that have played out according to the rules?
I'd say Kubica... and that's not based on patriotism, because I'm not his biggest fan. RK seems to make far less mistakes, drives consistently and is now leading WDC. Where's Heidfeld? Edit - Oops.. sorry, misunderstood ya there. But since when is Heidfeld considered a no2?

There IS NO responce to your comment as it is as hallow as your hate for Massa. It is ironic. Hamilton loses 10 grid positions in France and you most likely will loose 10K. Here is my contribution. Maybe if you try to look beyond your hate for Massa and love for McLaren, then maybe you would realize that after the Scuderia pretty much ruined Massa'a race, he still did a very good job today and it would have been stupid to jeopardize the few points that he could salvage for the team just to pass Glock. And since you are talking about inferior cars that Massa struggled to pass, you do realize that he had to pass most of them twice,as he was the only one on a 3 stopper,right?
I would agree with the first part of your statement. It was a good performance, exactly because he kept his head cool and did not attempt something stupid. After the strategy f-up it was more about damage control, not about winning. IMO Massa did the right thing by salvaging whatever he could for the WCC and not risking it by being over aggressive with Glock.
how can u be so quick to dismiss the F team's error on the refueling? It did cost him 35 secs and put him in last position to which he made it back all the way to 5th. I call that pretty impressive.
