I'll be there tomorrow, see you all there.
Will also come by tomorrow to check things out... Weather should't be a problem in the morning hours most weather stations are saying.
Nice to see everyone who showed up. Didn't get a chance to take a picture in front of the cafe. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That's a good start. good job Shahab. Good to see Tom is driving the red car more than the dark red one.
We should get a group pic next time. Anyways nice to meet everyone who showed up. Image Unavailable, Please Login
dark red one died, replaced with an '08 Milano Red Honda Fit - just to keep you on your toes with colours Salar. Much brighter red than the 348. Waffles with the Organic Maple Syrup was superb, and coffee was great. Didn't even get a Front Plate violation when parked across from a VPD cruiser. So all good for a first, thanks for setting up!
oh, what happened to Accord? Fit is a good buy, I've heard they're great on gas and good little city cars. You like it so far?
I think the cafe inside is pretty tight, same as the street parking spaces. Best option would be if everyone could park there cars in a open parking lot, If alot of people start coming to Cars and Coffee then there might be a problem with space. But i guess that place will do, space obviously wasn't a problem 1st time with only 1 car showing up.
Yes, the 8th. Should give everyone plenty of time to schedule it in their books. I know what you mean, seemed like rush hour that day. I'll have a talk with the owner and see what he recommends, and if we can resolve this issue; as he did recommend reserving us space.
I'm interested to join so keep me posted on the parking situation as it's a long drive from White Rock.
It would be a better run for the guys living in the city if there was a good coffee/parking area in WhiteRock!! Just a suggestion
there is good parking in WhiteRock in the morning before the crowds start - and there is good coffee there, forget the name, but near the Boathouse.
Agreed. Van dusen gardens on Oak and 37th street has great parking and a coffee shop as well. Shout out loud if there's a happening on the 8th and I'll join you'all.
Hey thanks guys for helping me getting this going. Try out some different spots before one gets set in stone. I`ll try to come along on the 8th drive.
What about North Van ? There is a couple nice places with parking lots and coffee shops , like Carrie Cates Ct and Lonsdale Ave - 2 parking lots available
What's the parking situation like at Crescent Beach? There's a cafe called Wired Monk, but I haven't been to Crescent in a while. I did considered it, but there isn't much scenery, and parking is always at full capacity when I've been there in the afternoon. There are about 6 different places in Vancouver and 3 in White Rock that I'd like to see if their suitable, but haven't had the time. What does everyone think about having the event around noon-ish for tomorrow? Medina's slow time is from 11:30-1:30, so it'll be less cramped and possibly more street parking.
