I know of a 1991 Black Testarossa with 800 miles on it. What do you think it's worth? $90K is what the owner is asking for.

90k seems a bit steep for a 91 testa. I think the best price would be around 75-80, give or take. That's just my opinion though.

    north of 80
    south of 90

figure cost +12 to 15k to get the service issues addresed - tires, belts, injectors, bearing re-pack etc etc
    Where else can you get a new 12 cyl Fcar for, say... +/- 85 +12 = 97k

as long as the all-in stays less than 100k - it's a bargain.

at 800 miles - this is a new car...

offer him 100k - minus an all-in service at the Fcar dealer.

woops, I didn't notice it had only 800 miles on it, haha. I guess reading helps! I'm thinking then, between 80 and 90, seems to be the most accurate.

I need to learn how to type. My main header says "1992", it should be 1991.

In my opinion, all you can do with any 800 mile exotic, is to look at the car in the garage. If you drive it, it will lose a significant amount of it's value. If you want to drive it, find a nice clean 10-15K mile car that is serviced and ready to go. It would be so painful to drive an 800 mile car - you would always be looking at the odometer while you are driving.

In addition, every third time you take it out, something will malfunction - until all the little things are taken care of.

Nothing wrong with parking it and looking at it.

    Vincenzo's values are correct.

I agree... Mine has 24,000 on her and is driven all the time. I think if I paid top dollar and with 800 miles - I would never want to drive it. Absolute gem to look at.. I would rather have my not so perfect TR with 24,000. I really enjoy being able to drive and not be paranoid about every little thing on the road.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

    agree 100%

do not plan on buyng it for drive, at this point is a nice looking show item (that is good if you have other things to drive :) )

if you plan to dirve it a well driven, 20k miles testa will cost you 30k less to buy and much less to drive

the problem with that car is 91 is a 7500 mile car for Ca, where the car is for sale. So it most likely will have to leave the state, or drive it a lot.

I am not buying this car. I like my 512TR and going to stick with it.
