Poor car didnt get to pick its driver. I feel bad for it. I always do when some F-car or other nice car is being driven by a tool that has to show off all the time.

BS. If it was a BMW or Porsche, this story would never had made a blip on anyone's radar. The fact it was a Ferrari is what gives the story interest.

Or would the driver of a BMW or "everyday" Porsche been egged on by the crowd to show off... or the owner for that matter goosed the throttle?

    Chicken or the egg?

i've got two f1's and any day I'll out clutch most. don't blame it on the f1. blame something like this on the tool driving it. 70% of the time money buys a car not an actual driver buys the car.

you're the exception to the rule & you're right, it's the money that buys the car, but can't neglect the fact that F-car sales are up because these "Tools" are driving glorified automatics.

I wouldn't call the F1 a glorified auto. My f1's will leave my 6 speeds in the dust. Faster through the gears than any of my 6 speeds except my sequential cup car

Also those Formula one drivers are doing the same thing. A glorified automatic.

Running around town it's a bit boring but nice to drink coffee and talk on the phone but at high speeds it's plenty fun. Plus Ferrari only makes 1 in 6 manual

But I must assume your comment is from Countless hours behind the wheel of a F1 430 or 360

These are not mutually exclusive statements.
I don't think anybody will argue that an F1 can't beat a stick.

Man is this topic ever tired. The F1 guys calling the stick guys "dinosaurs"; the stick guys calling the F1 guys "girls" for not driving a real car. The F1 ppl need to get over their sensitivity of the subject and the stick ppl need to get over themselves.

Can't we all just get along????
    Next topic....

This thread, and the "blog", is like saying "Here's more proof that a surprising number of ex-football players are capable of murder", and then showing an old picture of the famous glove.

wasn't this particular accident the result of the driver being drunk and showing off for people? I think it happened in Australia...

I think that goes for many vehicles. But check out this one.... :( But I also think if people were to put Corvette and Mustang owner's in here. It would be endless pictures, lol.
