In my opinion the Tamya is the better model. It is better detailed and it has better looking wheels. I am looking for a black one by the way, if anyone can help

i have the kyosho enzo and i'm very pleased with it.the body is all metal unlike the tamiya, that is partially plastic.i can't speak of detail on the tamiya but i am impressed with mine.if you'd like to see any detail shots let me know and i'll try to get you what you want too see.

The Tamiya definitely has better stance and wheels.

Afterall, the whole point of these toys is to display them; so that means more to me than the material its made out of.

Excuse me for the ignorance but why there're always talk between metal Vs plastic for the 1/12 Kyosho? Is the Tamiya version in plastic too fragile?

Apparently broken hinges for the engine cover is a common problem for the Tamiya. However, IMO as long as you handle it with care, it shouldn't be a problem.

thank's also the tamiya seem's harder to get hold of, in north america at least, so if i get it from hong kong & hinges etc break, it will cost a bundle just to send it back. i can get the kyosho no problem. thank's prowler ive seen detailed pic's & it look's great! ive read through other post's, & was just wondering about the wheel's as many say. Also, i wouldnt just get the one, id like to get a yellow & black, once released by kyosho, & the black tamiya seem's hard to find under $400. So i think i want them all by the same maker if possible, just so they display better.

Tamiya is very fragile, mine arrived with numerous faults three times, its the first plastic model I had out of many and the only model i have ever had issues with.

My choice would be the kyosho.

The Tamiya has simply better detail. You can even unscrew all the panels on the bottom and you are going to find all the plumbing from the radiators up front all the way to the engine plus all the brake hoses and some other detail. Truly awesome.
Also please stop calling the model Plastic. It is RESIN. It is like saying that the real Enzo has an iron engine block.
Anyone who had anything brake from the Tamiya Enzo in their hands, maybe should look for a different hobby. There is nothing wrong with the way the model is made. Unfortunately the same can not be always said about how some handle thinks.
Now I understand that some have arrived with some issues, but this happens to models by all makers, from BBR to Bburago
At the end though it is all about personal preference. I personally would like to have a red and a black one, so this opens the perfect opportunity to have both Tamiya and Kyosho. Unless of course I don't find a black mint Tamiya for under $400. Then I'll have to by a yellow Kyosho I guess

Plastic/Resin whatever, every man and his dog would call it plastic. Listen buddy, this model arrived broken 3 TIMES, it had nothing to do with me and I have had experience with building models for a very long time. The build quality is very poor in my opinion, how else can you explain numerous faults with 3 models, unlucky? I dont think so. Detail may be very good but what use if its falling apart.

When you have 10+ 1/12's and 100+ 1/18's and the only fault you find throughout them is the Tamiya 1/12 Enzo model, not once but three times and numerous faults on each, it is hard to rate it. There are plenty of things wrong with the way it is made.

if you created a poll to find out hot many had issues with their diecast AA Murcielago or diecast Tamiya F50 against the Tamiya resin/plastic Enzo, I think you would be very surprised.

tamiya should've sold the enzo as an assembly kit model. I would've bought 2....+ there would've been several super detail upgrade kits.....imagine the possibility...

Read again my post , BUDDY.
I have received 2 messed up Exoto models, straight from the factory. My F50 came factory sealed from Tamiya with a paint chip on the front bumper. There have been defective AA and my last Kyosho model came with one of the backup lights missing.
I have been building models ever since I can remember and I am two times national champion in USA. My collection is at least four times the size of yours and I have very few of the same-car-different-color variety.
I don't own the Enzo from Kyosho, but I have seen it plenty of times and the Tamiya model has better paint, is better detailed, more accurate, and there is nothing wrong with its build quality.
Maybe you should change your seller and/or the shipping service he uses.
Or maybe you should go to church and ask why did it happen to you. Also the number of complaints comparison is totally invalid, since we are talking about 4 models that came out over a 20 year period, compared to 20 models that came out in the last 6 months. Of course the 1:12 Ferraris are going to be under the microscope.

Sorry. You are absolutely right. I lost it, but I don't like people calling me buddy that don't know me especially after reacting to part of my post inaccurately.
    I apologize to everyone.
