Have any of you lost any material item of great value? This could be either something expensive or something that means a lot to you. I'd be cureious.

I think that losing something can be one of the most frustrating experiences a person can have bar none. As for me? I haven't lost anything of great worth(hard to do when you have nothing of great worth to begin with :)), but I have definitely lost some items that had great sentimental value.

    What have you lost?

I once lost a stainless Rolex,

I actually think one of my "friends" borrowed it. So, I am just waiting for it to be returned.

I sold my truck back in August of 2006. I really sort of miss it and regret selling it.

My dad lost his dad's (so my Grandpa's) Nazi Iron Cross that he found (as an American soldier) in an abondoned house during WW2... when he brought it to Middle school for whatever reason.

Really sucks because that is some great WW2 memorbilia. He came home with some other really neat stuff that he found throughout the fields and blown up houses, but he says he really liked and misses that Iron Cross (not for the wrong reasons though ;) )

A black & gold Tag Heuer watch that I had since high school. It lasted me 13 years until it disappeared but I have feeling it was stolen from my gym bag.

I just lost a really nice and really new disc golf disc, an Innova Destroyer Tye-Dye Pro. Threw it maybe 3 times, then I tried to kill it on a hole with hopeless poison ivy to the right- it went right.

    WAAAAAAY right.

Searched and searched, but the area is very thick - no luck.

It ain't much, but I don't like losing discs, especially brand new expensive ones.
