Hey Joe, It has come to my attention that a "supposed" Periscope roof "S" that someone will not post pictures or a VIN... But asks for a lot of info from us is #1121110. Counterfeit Periscopa or just a car that never was?
I am always interested in ID'ing any CT from France. These are rare there and in the 80s, the owners better hide them. May be this one is 1120268 that was for sale in Monaco by Emotion Automobiles 1 , white/white, and is now is switzerland? If that car has history then it culd be tracked.
Good to see you over here Marc. The owner of the car was possibly the owner of "Le Discotheque Countach"..... ?
Definitely an S2 number. Could it be the factory took an old LP400 and made it an LP400S? Leave me alone with it for 5 mins and I think I could tell you if: 1. The Pericope roof was done by the factory (ie genuine) 2. The LP400S conversion was one by the factory (ie genuine) Too early for me to say something stinks, although Im getting a whiff of a positively rank odor...
Thank you: yes I would think it was him and that perhaps the French club has info on him and #. I was a member but...a quarter cenury ago before I left France! Best regards, Marc
