    Hi,
I'm new to W. Palm Beach. Can anyone suggest a good dealership or indie in the area?
    Thanks much-

You won't regret having Tim service your 308. He even drove me to the train station so I could get back to WPB :)

Thanks, I will definately give Tim a call.
OK, I'll fess up. I just bought a 308 on Ebay. I work for a specialty company that does vehicle restorations.
We have highly experienced techs that can't wait to service my car. We also do show quality paint.
We even painted One of Enzo's planes!! The plane can be seen at ttusa.net.
Anyway, I will definately have Tim take a look and maybe he can let me know what I'm in for.
I am a decent mechanic and have done most of my own work on my Vettes,Porsches and MGs and am looking forward to getting to know the car I've been
    dreaming about for decades................
    Thanks again-

    Ed,

The 308 looks great. My 308 was an Ebay buy too. It needed a little sorting out, but nothing major. After the service at Tim Stanfords I have no worries. I had the fuel lines changed (Definitely have yours checked) and Tim found and fixed a few other small concerns.

When you get yours all sorted out, you should come out to a few of the SSF (Scuderia South Florida) events, gatherings (Located in the Florida section) It would be great to see your dream car in person, and my 308 could use some company ;)

    Take care,

    Edward

Those are the rims I had in mind. Updated yet still retain that semi classic look.
What size/brand tires are you running?
    They look great!

Previous owner changed the original wheels. I like them and think it complements the 308 nicely. I'm not sure who makes them. I was told once that they resembled Mille Miglia MM-II+. I believe they look very similar. But the only marking I can find on them is "SL Competition" Perhaps "SL" means Speedline. Perhaps someone here knows for sure.

The rims are fitted with Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 Front 205/55 ZR16 91W Rear 225/50 ZR16 92W but I'm sure they can be fitted with another brand...... They feel fine to me but I'm sure there might be better.

Oh..one more thing...... The best upgrade I made to the 308 was installing "Birdmans fuse box" took less than an hour and cured all of the electrical gremlins.... hey it might be my imagination but the windows even seem to work faster. Do a search and you'll find a lot on the subject.

    Enjoy your 308

    Edward
