I've got my car up on blocks and think I might run a wire off the +ve terminal of the starter solenoid. I'm doing this in preparation for the installation of a BSM electronic ignition. My quick question is this ... does anybody happen to know which of the starter solenoid terminals is the +ve one? I think it's the one towards the front of the car. I will hook up a wire and test the voltage using my multimeter anyway, but as these connections are fiddly to get to, I'd kind of like to hook up to the correct one on my first attempt if at all possible.

It won't be the end of the world if nobody happens to know the answer, but if you do ...

    Thanks.

    NewBdude,

it doesn't matter which one is +.
Use your multimeter to find which one is ground, this way you won't hook the + wire to the wrong term.

Then get a fancy shmancy starter switch from JEGs, that can handel the amps.
    One button, no waiting.

    :)
