    Beautiful 430. Love the interior.
I have an 07 430 coupe in Silverstone.
Because the car is under warranty, I would recommend using what the manual calls for - Shell Helix Ultra 5W40.

I live in Pittsburgh and was very happy to be able to purchase a case of the Shell Helix form a distributor here in town.
I have used about 2 quarts in 3000 miles. Just had my 1 year annual maintenance completed where my dealer changed the oil, among other things. Dealer charged $17.50/quart (10qts). I paid about $125 dollars for my case. If you are interested I would be happy to sell you 2 or 3 quarts (same as what I paid for it), since it will be a long time before I use 10 more quarts. Just PM me if you are interested. Enjoy your 430. Al

    Al,
I was able to find 2 quarts but had to travel to a Ferrari dealer in CT!
That is super cool of you & I am definitely interested in buying 3 quarts.

I am going to PM you now.
    Regards,
    Gregg

Expect a reply from Dr. Ali Haas.
He wrote, what perhaps is, one of the most interesting and educative articles regarding synthetic motor oil.

I thought I've seen ads on the tee-vee for Quaker State saying they are the official oil for F cars?

Quaker State is correct. On my '08 F430 the owner's manual says Quaker State Horsepower 5W-40 should be used. On delivery, the car came with two extra quarts of Quaker State European Engine fully synthetic 5W-40 oil. All other fluids use the Shell brand. I wonder why they switched to Quaker State just for the engine oil and not the rest of the fluids.

I use Mobil 1 0-40. I run M1 in everything I own (including my 2 race cars) and have had nothing but good luck with it.
