Anyone willing to show me their car in MI?

Not really in Ferrari Country up here in Lansing, but I would like to check out a 348 and maybe get a ride in one if possible. I've been debating a lot lately about selling my 930 and picking up a 348. But then I'm thinking maybe I should just add to the collection. Haven't decided yet. But the thing is I really don't know anything about these cars or even seen one up close. I tried to set up a test drive that fell through so I'm back to square one. If no one can take some time one on one maybe you guys can tell me when and where there's a gathering/show so I can at least walk around them and talk to some owners. Please feel free to PM or post up links to events I would appreciate it.

Well, you can start by hanging out on Saturdays @ Autozone...Birmingham, MI. You may want to also check with mike (348_spiderman), he may give you more tips about owning and driving a 348 since he already owns one. A former Michigander (FOC -Michigan officer) who has moved to georgia...and we all sure miss him!

 

Take a drive to Muskegon and you can have a ride in a '95 Spider. There are some good car shows and festivals coming up, so come on the weekend w/ your family/sig other and spend the day!

 

That would really be great! Actually, next weekend (the 28th) we'll be over that way (Whitehall) anyways because we have a wedding to go to at 4:30pm. If that day works for you I'll work out the details and show up early. If so, I'll PM you my cell and we can work out the details. If not, then let me know when and where some of these car shows and festivals are coming up and I'll try to make 'em.

 

I will be at the tech session at Cauley that day, but if I get back soon enough, that will be fine with me.

 

I'm pretty sure I'll be at that tech session as well that day as well. Will you have your Ferrari over there? Maybe I can check it out there. I probably won't stay long because of that wedding but I should have at least a couple of hours there. I already got the wife willing to drive us over to the wedding so I'm not driving all over the State that day. I'll be the one that doesn't fit because I may drive my 930 if the weather is nice. If not when you get home give me a call and maybe we could stop by your place on the way home if it isn't too late. I PM'd you cell number. Looking forward to meeting you....
