I always thought that Ferrari stole the four round tail light idea from the Chevy Corvette StingRays. ;)

The two cars came out at roughly the same time, with GM's massive lead times on design, I would say it was pure coincidence rather than immitation of design by either side. Impala sure would save money on both initial cost and follow up tickets. ;)

There is also an older car, a 2 door sedan/sport, that has very similar front air intakes to the 360.

I can't remember the name right now.

Ferrari was wayyyyy not the first to do rounded tail lights.

Rounded tail lights are ubiquitous in automotive history,.....besides that, they're friggin everywhere.

God that Cobalt is ugly. Why are the rears on all new cars so tall? Gross.

Pretty sad how the roles have reversed and Ferrari is now copying Japanese cars!

I remember seeing some sort of Impala brochure or something back when that design was new and they described the tail lights as being "Euro inspired!" Ha!
