R8 this am at the Pancake House on Belleview (by Cool River).
That blue Gallardo always comes to meets around town all the time. The owner is a really nice guy. I've seen him at three seperate get togethers.
Spotted John Elway driving his Bentley GTC on University around 5:45pm today...then I spotted the Ritz' Phantom dropping people off at Ruth's Chris Steak House...maybe Elway's isn't all it's cracked up to be
Actually different Blue Gallardo. My dad is out of town and its been in the garage all weekend. However, in case any of you guys are interested, there is a fun car rally going on tomorrow. Starting at Club auto (http://www.lemaymuseum.org/page.php?id=76) at 3pm tomorrow. It will mostly be the import tuner crowd, some bmw's and a mix of all the other genres.
Ahh, well tell him kudos for bringing it out so much and letting people ask all the repetative questions!
Quattroportes have gotten pretty common... I think the guy who's selling them is working way too hard! I'm in Aspen for the weekend, and I saw some fantastic cars today: a white Bricklin SV-1 (here's another shot showing the unbelievably contrast between that car and a regular car), a light blue Ferrari F430 Spider on Florida plates in Basalt, a black BMW Z8 on Texas plates, and an awesome Porsche 959/964 Hybrid, which uses the 964's chassis and a legitimate 959 body. The owner, who was incredibly knowledgeable about cars (and told me he also owned a Countach and a Diablo), took me for a ride in it - very, very fast; he claimed over 600 horsepower! Also I believe I spotted our very own PhilNotHill driving his red Ferrari 360 Spider in the late afternoon. Is that yours, Phil?
In the past week: Idaho Springs: Grey or black Maserati coupe on I70 shoulder Denver: White R8, red Prowler, couple 996tt's Boulder: Red Elise I think that's all
Whoops! Not an SV-1, but rather a Volkswagen-based kit car called the Nova. The SV-1 doesn't even look similar; I don't know what I was thinking! Maybe I am slipping. Two more Aspen spots: a dark blue Ferrari F430 Spider and a silver Ferrari 360 Modena, both on Colorado plates this afternoon near the center of town. And from Denver, at around 7pm this evening, a dark gray Audi R8 on temporary plates at North, and a dark blue Aston-Martin V8 Vantage Roadster on New Jersey 'manufacturer' plates in an alley off 2nd between Steele and St. Paul.
I thought that was a kit car, cool kit car (the cab thing lifts up) but i thought it was a kit car. I wasnt sure it was VW or maybe another drive train. James in Denver
Spotted at least 10 Prowlers on I70 at Empire yesterday. Could have been more but wasn't looking when the leader went by.
Tonight around 7:30pm: a red Dodge Viper RT/10 at the JW Marriott in Cherry Creek, and a red Ferrari F430 Spider at Elway's.
Tonight at around 7:15pm, I caught a white Porsche 911 GT3 (997) on Texas plates at 3rd and Steele, and at around 8pm, a dark blue Bentley Arnage in valet at Elway's.
Not an exotic, but close: a black Buick Grand National at C-470 and Quebec around 8:15 this morning. Very rare and very fast!
Some great cars out yesterday evening: - Light blue Lotus Exige on temporary plates at around 6:30pm on University just north of Alameda. - Red Dodge Viper RT/10 at Elway's around 7:50pm. - White Audi R8 on temporary plates at 1st and University around 8pm. - Silver Ferrari F355 GTS (horrible shot, I know!) southbound on University between 1st and Alameda at around 9:20pm. Today at around noon, a dark blue Ferrari 612 Scaglietti at Cherry Creek Mall valet.
Saw this R8 off of 120th in Bradburn outside the Exchange Tavern tonight just a few minutes ago http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd246/board57796/Audi002.jpg
Red & tan 360 spider with rear challenge grill and top down and a female driver. It was at the corner of pavilion and twenty mile rd in parker at about noon.
