Hi, I'm in the process of specifying my coming 430 Scuderia - and I have a question I hope someone can answer for me. I've seen pictures of the blue Scuderia that were at LA Auto Show in November 2007 - I'd like to know what colors/options it had for it's interior; * color of the alcantara * stitching color (and if the pranching horse stitching is in the same color - the horse seems 'silver' to me but the seat stitching light grey or white ?) * the color of the 2-layer fabric (my guess is grey) Someone know for sure ? - thanks! thank you! - did you happen to see it in person? - and if so, does the pictures give a good representation of how the stitching looks in person? (contrast, reflection of light)
I think the Scud you saw in LA was the same one I saw at FoSV as it was "on tour". I took these shots of the interior... hope they help. From what I remember, the interior was awesome looking. Yes, I saw it at Frankfurt. I didn't get super close to examine the stitching it may actually be a light grey but the German dealer rep said it was silver so I took his word on it. The pictures are accurate.
thanks Frank! - yes, I too think the car 'toured' - I've seen other pictures posted of it from other shows too. And your pictures are helpful and seems to support the 'silver stitching' that ringmeister mentions! thanks!

I'd love to ;-) - but you said that yours are grigio medio seats, yellow stitching - right? - is grigio medio the same as 'charcoal' ? edit: it obviously isn't - the last picture just threw me off as it seems darker there than on the previous 2 pictures.
As far as I know Ferrari only makes one grey Alcantara so both of these cars have the same. I think the lighting and flash photography are playing a part in how they appear.
Correct...........this is mine with the same two layer fabric, light grey (0318) stitching, but with black alcantara. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
that blue its lovely .. one of the best colors on the Scuderia, i dont think it will age well though. I saw it on a 575 and it looked "OLD" MrTheKid: i always wondered about your exterior color, is it one of the classic colors ?
Tarek, Quick question regarding alcantra - if you choose black (or any other color) does the same color automatically continue through the entire car - dash, headliner, rear wall? Thanks.
no, the dash, center 'cockpit divider' and lower part of the rear wall is default black altantara - and the headliner is the same as the 2-layer fabric color selected. The customer selected altantara color is used for seat 'frame', upper rear wall and A-pillar. But everything can be customized...
To clarify... If the interior is black alcantra with rosso seat inserts - everything will be black alcantra, except the headliner?
yes, except the carbon parts - and the stitching would be red because of the selected 2-layer fabric seat color selected. Image Unavailable, Please Login
So can you order a Scuderia with NO alcantera at all, just painted aluminum? Could you opt as well for none of that diamond-style plating in the front? _J
I don't know for sure - and I'm a bit afraid to ask 'off topic' questions of my dealer at the moment - I don't want him to get my options/order wrong ;-) - but his words earlier were "you can have the car any way you want it" - so I guess you could if you really really want to.. ($) - or maybe Ferrari won't allow that 'unpolished' a car.
I am very sure......that is the stitching code I ordered in my Scuderia which you see in my pictures. Dark grey would be 0416.
