    I came across one with 1000 mi and is cheaper than all the regular 430 coupes. What is the story behind the challenge? Is maintanance a fortune? Is it cheaper because it's stripped of pretty much everything? Is it road legal?

    I'll save you a flaming - not road legal, pure race car for a special race series www.ferrarichallenge.com.

    Not in any way cheap to operate :)

    Market price for a used car is circa 230K unless its been seriously crashed...

    This is a 430 Challenge car.
    Car has its own hydraulic lifts built into it for quick tire changes. Tires are racing slicks.
    Not road legal. Sounds loud when the engine fires up.
    Inside is bare metal and single racing seat.
