This isn't an exotic or a Ferrari, but I am now dreaming of owning one. I was chatting it up with the owner of a brand new Lexus IS-F at the weekly car show on Dalrock. Look up the numbers on this thing. I will get a couple pics up later today...

Saw a nice Green Aston Martin Vantage Convertible receiving a scolding from a State Trooper on the G. Bush Tollway near Preston at lunch. OUCH.

Thanks! Figured we needed a change from all of the cookie cutter Ferrari 360 Modena, F430, Gallardo, Volkswagen Continental GTs, & Aston Martins.

Here are the pics, I just hope I'm not poking at a hornets' nest with this...( I was restricted to these two pics. I couldnt get the stacked dual exhaust due to the license plate being in the pic, and he would not pop the hood. He did tell me it has a 5+ litre motor and the oil pan holds 9+ litres, with a rough speculation of 450-500 horses, so there are a couple tidbits to chew on)

I saw one at Sewell Lexus of Ft Worth a couple months ago, $65,000+ with no chance of manual transmission, & still looks so bland.

I saw a medium blue one somewhere. It was alright. But it's still a Lexus... for better or worse!

No worries, I drive a ES300 for now & they truly are boring, reliable but so boring.

I'm glad there's someone else here that thinks like me.

BTW...I'm a 308 owner, and won't take the trouble to report a 308/328 sighting unless it's an early Euro 308GTB or just an unusually nice car...or a well-pimped-out one.

    Ok, here's a few.

6/22/08: F430 red, Gallardo Spyder yellow, and (not exotic but rare for a the moment) Dodge Charger orange.

6/23/08: Mercedes McLaren SLR Roadster. I had not seen one of these before. It did look rather impressive.

Is today free Maserati day? I passed at least 7 of them on Hillcrest within an hour and a half. And I passed an older Lambo, it was a faded green. Never seen one before, it looked real weird, like a hatchback almost...Anybody know about what it is? It was at Centerville and 66 yesterday evening...

I think you saw a Lamborghini Espada, it was 2+2 from the early 70's & was the first Lambo that I drove. As for the mass of Maseratis, they are all too common on the west side of Fort Worth, I spotted three within one hour, same goes for Bentley GT's, some woman in a white one this morning almost clipped my mirror at the post office trying to pass too close.

I honestly think we should not report Maseratti or Aston Martin they are falling into the commonality of BMW 7 series and MB 550s in this area not really exotic anymore.

Never have seen a Saleen in real life. Do they look as crazy/exotic as I imagine they would?

Agree...I'm working in the Lemmon/Tollway area, and drive to-from work thru Highland Park or uptown area...those cars are a much more common sight than any Ferrari.

I agree. A while back I quit talking about Bentleys, Masers, Pbug GTwhatevers or NSXs. Far too common these days

After dodging so many the other day, I agree. Unless it is a Maser MC12, of course...

That's the name. I just couldn't remember it. I must say that it isn't the most beautiful Lambo out there. What were they thinking???

Sorry if that was aimed at me I was not saying that the DB is not a great car I love it but as one of the guys said this area has dozens of them on my drive home from Legacy to Uptown just this evening I saw 2 Masers and one Aston. dont know how excited everyone would get at me reporting that.
