    FLA12794 -> 500S
    FLA12795 -> ?
    FLA12796 -> ?
    FLA12797 -> ?
    FLA12798 -> supposed to be the 1st QV DD in the Us. Said sold for $57K in 2000 at a Kruse auction! (what would i give for a $57K DD in decent shape!)

    So per this record the vins 795 to 797 should be 500S but some facts here would be welcome

    I think there are more than 2 blue 400s in France. someone posted a pict of a blue with white stripes from 1989. Different car. I beleive the other with white stripes could be 1121070

    The pic I posted was of a Quattrovalvole, not an LP400S...and it was not 'Blu Tahiti' (poor quality pic) but the rarely-used Turquoise or Pertol Blue (Blu Benzina). A very striking blue on a Countach...

    Glenn,

    I emailed you about my Countach and Urraco a couple of months ago - I got a request for photos on the Urraco but nothing for the Countach. I have recently added a Jalpa to my collection as well. PM me if you want full details and photos on all three.

    Countach FLA12794 - Black/black US Car
    Urraco 15176 - Red/Tan Italian Car - My opinion is it was Yellow from the Factory - Very old restoration - Great Driver
    Jalpa ELA12095 - Black Met/Black Swiss Car - Very nice but getting some mechanical work - Pulled motor and trans last week.

    Joe

    Cool pictures Joe. You should take a drill to the tach and mph cables, make it look like you are doing 200 mph at redline.

    Spring 2007 I saw a Tahiti blue Countach S drive by in Paris, near Le Louvre, I think it was a tall body but certainly not a later car with the machine gun tower over the engine etc.

    Very likely the car shown on the previous page in post 1370 I think was the one I saw.

    Looks like the Geneva Covention car of Walter (with no wing) but what about this pic?
    Note the mirrors and the four lights...

    That is not Walter Wolfs car. It isnt even a 4-litre.

    Its a 5-litre Quattrovalvole based in Japan with some Wolf look-a-like stuff, 1988 1/2 side-skirts and quad fogs. One man's personal tribute I suppose. Nothing to do with anything real.

    But Im sure the owner is very proud...

    Yes, French temporary plate. This car was also tested for a French magazine.

    Big thanks Joe!
    Do you have a chassis number of that one?

    I've read about 1/2 side skirts, what does that mean?
    Is that about the series 1 or 2?

    Grtz Dee.
