Miura, the original supercar

Same owner has a Diablo GT bought in Switzerland, Member of Lamborghini Classic Club Germany.

 

P400 converted to SV specs by Cark R.

 

i think this is my favourite miura colour scheme.

 

Interesting specs, I don't remember seeing those SV specs anywhere. I will have to check with Joe on this. Try to match up our records.

Are those 911 headlights?

It was roadtested by the German magazine "Motor Klassik" in their August 1986 issue in comparison with a Ferrari Daytona. Registered M-KL 1986.

Mr. Foitek was very helpful when I inquired about the history of my car when I first got it. He sent me a rare original circa 1967 Foitek sticker that I intend to put on the car when I restore it. He was the one that informed me who the first owner was, and that he was connected to Monteverde.

Do you happen to know how many Miura's were delivered to Foitek? Based on the records that Joe has posted it appears #1021 was the first one delivered to them. Pretty cool.

 

Especially when the "World's Fastest Car" (October 28, 1970) is also in the room at Sinsheim.

 

Very interesting photo. Almost exactly as mine, see my site, www.lamborghinimiura.com (3rd photo on the 1st page) and already discussed with Alberto on this thread, but seems to be taken a couple of minutes earlier or latter (some differents details). Iso Rivolta Gts and ? in the background. Maybe Alberto's car is in the photo, who knows?

Lamborghini says 70 Miura have been delivered to Switzerland, meanwhile it was possible to identify all of them:

1 car was delivered to Garage du Bout du Monde (Marcel Willemin), Geneva
1 car was delivered to Tehrani Hamed Ferdowsian
1 car was delivered to the Shah of Persia to St. Moritz
#4452 was owned by Craig Davis, Baar in 1991
