I will be unable to attend on the 13th, sorry, hope to see you next year at the event!
I was thinking about running over to KB toys or something and just taking a quick walk around to see what they have to offer. Maybe a new action figure... I know the Indiana Jones toys are out now, so that may be popular. With the run to brunch... any ideas where it would be? I'll be taking the train in either alone or with my girlfriend (probably alone, due to her ) and I'll need to get a taxi or something if I go to brunch with everyone. I think I could get some nice shots of the exotics rolling through NYC. I can't wait for this event, and cannot wait to get the opportunity to photograph these cars. Chris
I think that John had planned on taking a "run" up to Route 22 in Armonk so that would be an expensive taxi ride. I know that I won't be able to make that date (previous commitment) plus I live in Westchester, so afterwards I wouldn't be heading back to the city, there will be a few that might have open seats and be willing to take a passenger, and return to the city, (your girlfriend might have a better chance of getting a seat if she's hot, you on the other hand..). John, I hope that you have a great turnout, it's a great event and the kids enjoy it a ton.
Haha, yeah I think she has a much better chance. Maybe I will go maybe I won't, We'll have to see on the conditions and what not. Chris
I should be able to come out to this event. Im from TN and the NC area so after the event I probably have to hit the road and head back. Hope to meet some new faces.
Sunday, Here in NJ in the AM, it's sunny (all be it humid). Surprise, surprise. I even had the A/C fixed in the 308 for this event (Thanks Steve Arena!). He swapped out the chipmunk blowing on the ice cube with a squirrel & 2 ice cubes. Double the capacity
I know... it is beautiful out. What can you do though Clyde...had to follow the forecast not for drivers' sake.. but in the event no kids would come out.
You guys watch Curb Your Enthusiasm? Reminds me of when Larry accuses the local weatherman of calling for rain (and it turns out sunny) so he can clear the golf course for himself!
