Any NE Ohio owners participating in the Ferrari drive tomorrow? Havent heard anything about it on this boiard but saw it on the Fca-Oh website. Looks like weather may be an issue but I'm gonna try and make it.

Couldnt make it today- no baby sitter, but sounds like a great time. If anyone in the Cleveland/Akron area is ever interested in a drive let me know. Myself and a friend of mine (360 spider and Gallardo respectively) are out most weekends if the sun cooperates.

Great shots Doug! Which car were you in?? I'm having trouble getting the pics off my camera but they aren't nearly that good!

Do the Lusso and 212 always drive on PROVA plates??

I was driving the white Jalpa, and Jon was driving the white 308 (the car from which the pictures were taken).

Halfway through the drive the 308 developed a nice throttle sticking issue....so I bailed to go help them fix the problem.
Jon's recount of the story was hilarious.....he was stopped on a hill at the red light with the Lusso in front of him and the 550 right behind him....and the car was revving out like crazy, and just loading the front wheels, and he and Craig just said....man, we might have to put this car into a tree so we don't plow into the Lusso.....I love how old Italian cars make for great adventures.

    Which car were you in?

Just curious if there has been any discussion of doing these events more in suburbs (ie: Legacy Village or Crocker Park type places) rather than downtown? I know of some owners that hold back going to these simply because their downtown.

This was the third HEMMI and the first time we finished off in town. All of the Folks in Little Italy specifically Maxies and MVP Parking were very helpful. The next HEMMI is Doug and Tracey's turn so we will start from Fairlawn, Crocker Park is a possibility. Any contact info you can provide would be great.

A little history about the HEMMI: The first year the drive started Aurora we drove to East Liverpool for brunch then half away across Ohio to Landoll's Mohican Castle in Loudonville for dinner. The second year we started in Fairlawn and drove to a beautiful wine vineyard west of Cleveland, continued further west then east and stopped for dinner at Chippewa-on-the-Lake.

i wish i was in a car! i was at Presti's having a coffee when the convoy rolled in... the valet guys did a great job!

Loved the Jalpa and it was the first one i've seen on the road... i noticed there were no windshield wipers were you able to avoid the rain drops??

Also do you happen to know what kind of exhaust the 550 had? there were 6 tail pipes!

This drive wasn't really downtown....we just finished in Little Italy. It was actually a very beautiful drive through the best roads on the east side...chagrin falls, gates mills, aurora, willoughby, etc.

I took the wipers off both the Jalpa and the 308 and gave them the Rain-X treatment......works much better than those old flappy Italian wipers.

Top is usually off in the rain too....I just drive fast enough so that you don't get wet.

Great event - I really thought nothing Ferrari-related happened in Cleveland.

I was in Cleveland a couple of weeks ago, visiting my Porschephile brother. I used to go bicycling out on Chagrin River Rd, through Gates Mills, etc. Some nice roads out there when the weather cooperates.
