I was driving last week and out the corner of my eye I glimpse something blow out from under the dashboard.

When I get home I pick it up and find that its a yellowed sticker that came off the Becker radio.

Any reasonable human would take that trash that falls off a car and put it in the, well, trash.

But not any more...oh no; I carefull pick it up, place it in a zip lock bag so it can be preserved line a splinter off the Cross!

LOL, too true. Everything is precious on a Dino. Can you save the original air in the tires too?

My wife gets mad at me for saving everything off of my two old fun cars (65 corvette and 70 jaguar e-type). We have several boxes of "junk" in the garage. The idea is if I ever sell one of these cars, a few boxes of junk goes with it.
It will make the new owner of the car happy (but maybe not their spouse).

    Hey DD.

Unfortunately for you, I got all the good stuff from the car when I tore out the original carpet.

If you'd like the late '70's though late 90's change that I found hiding there, I can sell it to you for only one gazillion dollars.

It was about $3 total, as I recall.

Now, to burst your radio bubble. I put that radio in. It's period correct, OF COURSE, but I bought it in 2004. :( The sticker is, I'M SURE, vintage 70's stuff, and not a repro.)

    Sorry about that Chief.
