    Does this mean his car will never depreciate?

    Or would you have to substitute the current market value for gold and the depreciated rate to get the true value? :confused:

    That car has Russian number plates...Okay I think that it is actually really cool...I would be really embarressed to drive it but I think it looks great...reminds be of an old chrome Rolls I saw in some guys private collection in Kirkland.

    Well I am embarrassed driving anything "flashy"...I would never drive my Ferrari to work or to a friend's house. That Porsche is a look at me kind of car which I would be embarrassed to drive...but just aesthetically I think that gold leaf looks really cool...I want to touch it...I would not own it though...I bet the owner wears a lot of gold jewlery
    Hope that makes some sense...

    Wow that's uglier than the Scarface p-car :)

    40lbs of gold (troy lbs) is worth about $500,000 if it's pure. At real ounces (16 to a lb) it would be worth more like $700,000.
