brett's right.
I think he's telling us to get a life.. BTW how did you enjoy your trip to watch the V8 stupidcars as they are referred to here. lol
Did you catch Dick J? "We can put any panels on the outside of these things" "Makes no difference" Very bitter about the Ford pull out!
We had a GREAT time thanks mate. Plenty of pics taken. The cars were awesome. Met and talked to a few drivers also. All seem like nice guys. The promo girls walking around were enough to give a man a fat from 100 feet away! Anyways, was cool fun and we really enjoyed it. It was not as big as I thought it would be. Only around 19,000 people each day over the weekend. I thought it would have been double that, but nope. There were 5,000 more people there this year, compared to last year. Thats 5,000 people per day!! The event is only getting bigger and bigger they were saying. I reckon it would have been pretty dismal over the last 5 years with bugger all people there. It was good though, didnt have to wait in a line of 200 people to get drinks/food and there were also plenty of toilets everywhere. I am too used to the Big Day Out that has 50,000+ people there on the day. That is a nightmare for drinks/food/toilets.
Yeah, I actually saw that old codger when we were in pit lane checking out all the garages etc.... Lowndes was signing a hat for Nicole's Uncle when Dickhead Johnson came over (with Steven Johnson) and tipped water over Lowndes head from the balcony above, with a water bottle. Lowndes smiled and took it light heartedly, but I dont really think he was amused. DJ hobbled off.........he really looked like a miserable old bastard up close in person. After this week Craig too is getting used to being pissed on from above. Roland Dane reckons the choice came down to car colours. The blue cars won. Marketing, eh.
